Well, to be honest Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness was my first computer game but this was my most loved and memorable one.
I was playing back in the good ol' days where the Brood War expansion was unheard of, dial-up was your only ISP option, and Zergling Rush vs. Protoss Carriers conversations were plentiful.
Surprisingly the game ran quite well on dial-up and there were very little disconnect issues, other than someone trying to call through on your phone line or someone picking up the phone by accident.
What was your first computer game and what fond memories do you have?

Oh man there are soo many games I remember playing as a kid. Im gonna tell you about two though.
The first is POP (Prince of Persia). That is the most fristrating game to ever play. I still actually play it and have still never one the whole game. If you have never pklayed it and want a challenge I definitely recommend you download the old DOS version of the game. there are video games out of it these days but they are nothing like the original version made liek 20 years ago. I still love it though It is such a classic and Im going to continue to paly it until I hopefully one day win the game.
The secodn game is Treasure mountain!!! I would spend hours playing this game at home and at school It was just the best and it was very easy game to play. I still palyed this game up until i was about 14 even should for the fun of it and its a great way to pass time.
Man they defintely dont make games liek they used to. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!!!

Not a problem and thank you for replying to my discussion. I will agree with you that a lot of the best games were the DOS games of yesteryear. It seems every game these days are practically the same with some minor details. I relish each chance I get to play these games again when I stumble across them.

My fist game was also Prince of Persia, for DOS, I bought that and Oregon Trail on the same day. I still break out the DOS prompt to get a little retro gaming done. Now if I can only make it through Oregon Trail without my family dying of disyntary... I agree that the games of old w3ere the best. Go NES!

I really couldn't recall which came first but the best I could remember is playing games in DOS mode with everything saved on those 5.25" double density floppy disks. Ha ha, that's so stone aged. The first games I remember playing were Metal Maniac, Leisure Larry and Duel. The very first strategy game I played was Dune II. I miss that game. Along with that, I also played a racing game called Lotus.
