Hey everyone,
Has anyone else noticed the increased virus activity and Spyware / Adware lately?
What is with this? I have noticed that my computer has been infected once, and almost infected about 3 other times in the last month! This has been an increase of more than 5 times the normal!
Has anyone else noticed this increase? What do you think is causing it? Too many computer guys out of jobs and are looking at trying to make money??? I don't know... this could be true as i know a few IT Engineers who are completely out of work and can't find anything for months now.

I haven't noticed any different virus activity lately. But maybe what you said is true, cause i haven't been surfing much, except for the few sites that i visit regularly.

yeah i have just recently noticed that for some reason I have a lot more attacks... not making it through, being found and removed by the softwares, or firewalls letting me know something trying to get in.
I'm in the dark, just taking a tab at what i think why it could had increased lately with everyone losing work, etc.
Thanks for the response!

Aren't you getting little paranoid dude? :)
One serious problem maybe surfing a lot of sites. We never know which site is under attack or infected. You might also be right in thinking and relating to the recent slump in job market.

Hello,
Yes, I have friends at school that have been bombarded with viruses, and they already had to re-format their computer, and they only just got their new computer. For me, I haven't gotten many viruses though, dunno why. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

The viruses and the spywares that you get on the system is a development plan of the pioneer antivirus companies like mcafee norton etc .. when ever they have to increase the sales of there products they shoot out some new viruses in the market ;-)

Hey dude, no anti virus a that perfect a lot of anti virus have lophole, if you notice that your computer is getting slower may you got a virus or maybe your computer crash. Better get a computer defragmenter, registry defragmenter like auslogic you can manage your computer better, and also get a better anti rootkit. Rootkit are hiding on your OS and the viruses are hiding on it so the anti virus cannot detect them. I reformat my computer and install auslogic and anti virus and also try any anti rootkit, and put a DEEP FREEZE.
