Beware of FAKE Payment Proofs!

Hello my Mylot friends! I just wanted to share something with everyone that has come to my attention recently.
I read a discussion started by a fellow Mylotter about some "great new website" that pays you lots of cash to do simple data entry online, and just to get started there is a small fee. Well, as we all know, you almost NEVER pay to start making money online, as it usually is a scam!
I responded and told the Mylotter this, and he responded and said that the site looked legitamit because there was a PAYMENT PROOF from PayPal on the site. So I check it out, and low and behold, there was a graphic of a PayPal history list that showed that the person made over $15,000 (USD) just from doing this easy, short, simple data entry work, and in a short period of time!
I'm not saying that this site is not a scam (since I have not signed up or tried it), but whoever made $15,000 in a few days by doing data entry online?
For instance, I am a graphic artist (I have a degree and everything!). See the photo I uploaded with this discussion. It says that I made over $44 dollars from PickJack this payment period. Who makes that kind of money from Pickjack? It's fun and you can make some money, but not that much! I Photoshopped my Paypal history to show how easy it is to do!
I'm NOT saying that the payment proofs that your fellow Mylotters are fake! NOT AT ALL! I'm just saying that you must be careful and beware of fakes to entice you into spending your money.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
XOXO
Busie

Hello, you are ahead of me.
Hope you could advice me about the program that promised me to earn up to $100,000 in a month if I can refer a number of qouta.
For now I have only a few amount in my account since I have only a few down line.
What makes me feel it's legit is because I read all comments for this program pnly positive comments.
By the way, I am paid by just being online. Any work I want I can do.

Good discussion. I think all should try with their own brain to decide whether a site is legit or not. Its not good to believe to other's payment.

I think we just have to rely on the payment proofs of people we really know personally or those who have good reputations in forums.

wow, I never thought that anyone would ever try to fake a payment proof. But then again, its not that to do. I sometimes do not even bother to stare at the payment proof, I just look at the amount. Still even with payment proof, I will not be easily convinced to shell out money for an online job.

With the advances in technology all documents can easily be faked. I do not believe any payment proof unless its validity can be verified. A few months ago I posted a comment mentioning this fact. That is one of the reasons why I did not post any payment proof of the payments that I have received so far.
Anyone with creativity can easily modify any real document to suit his or her needs.

You are very clever used Photoshop tools
And thanks to the warning. I think only certain people who make a false proof of payment with the aim to attract readers, if they do like that so don't be trusted !

Wow, now they are coming up with payment proofs just to show people that the site is a legitimate work at home space. That is ludicris. There are many ways and lots of technology that people can use to show a pay pal proof. Even after looking at that site and seeing the proof on the site, I would still not believe that it was legitimate. Because the amount of money that they claim that you would be making in such a small amount of time. And plus also, because you won't have to do very much work to earn that amount of money. That all very sound much like a scam. I think any site that request money to even earn some money sounds like a scam any way. Oh well, but yet people still spend money just to see if its true and then complain when they get scammed. Sometimes you got to read in between the lines and really look into what the site is saying.

Hi busibee,
I am new here to Mylot and am just excited about the useful information I have seen so far. I wish that I had been active on this site a long time ago. I realize that there are scams about data entry all over the internet. I am very interested in data entry though. I have heard some about the site you mentioned which was PickJack. Can you tell me if this site is legitimate and worth trying?

To be honest, I never believe in any payment proofs. I only believe once I experience by myself that I got paid. I actually tried to be part of a website where there is neither complain. I always make a research first before I register because I want to make sure that the website is legitimate. Once I reach the payout, I immediately cashout to really know whether the website is genuine. Once I got paid, I can cashout at a higher amount next time because I have first hand proof based on my experience. But once again, any website can still be a scam and we still need to look and check their standing and how is their status. Have a nice day. Happy mylotting.

Yes, you're right busibee, there are far too many sites which are nothing, but scams. A guy making $15,000 in a short period? I'll like to know that! Why should people work so hard for their money when all they need to do is sit at home and type for a few hours and make this kind of money? People need to be more logical in their assessment of such discussions and topics.

Thanks for sharing that information. I've seen some payment proofs that still look too good to be true. And still, I have my doubts. As for PickJack, I still have yet to reach a dollar in that site!!!You're absolutely right though, It's a fun and educational site. But members do have to work extra hard to earn a little higher.
Before I started with Mylot, I almost tried one of those data entry online jobs. They promised a very good payment for my efforts. But then, you still need to pay some little amount for their "books of guidelines"...I had my suspicions so I didn't go for it.

I usually will get more information from any sites that sound too good to be true and not blindly sign up and wasting my time. This is a great reminder. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing that info with us. Some of us need to be reminded what people will do or say for us to sign up under them as a referral. I don't think the site is a scam. I think it is just to get referall. I think they should post realistic proof because if the person signs up and not getting what they thought they would be getting. They would probably just quit the site. That would be no money for them. I admit I sign up for site because of payment proof; however I never sign up for a site that is asking for money and that is exactly what I did is quit if the site is paying too little.

You nailed most of the peoples' eyes with this discussion and you will nail more. Expect peoples' comments flowing. I was flabbergasted with what you told Ms. Busbee. This is one hell of an information. $15,000 data entry for just few days??? are you kidding me? I can't think of anything or logical reason that would make me believe it isn't a scam (hope it is not). Are there any data entry professionals here? Can you enlighten us if it's possible or are we just dreaming nightmares?
