What makes you a good friend?

what are the qualities that you seek to be able to say they are a good friend? I can say that I have many acquaintances but very few true good friends, why is it hard to find good friends more than ever? Any feed back is welcomed be openminded with your responses I would love to here from you.

I think a good friend is someone you can depend on, have fun with, and trust. There are many "acquaintances," just people you know, that you don't have much in common with or spend a lot of time with.
But a good friend is always there for you and is a person that cares about you and you care about. It is sometimes hard to find someone to trust, but it is possible.
