I like a lot of his movies, it's hard to pick just one. He's done some very good ones. The "Die Hard" series was great along with "The Fifth Element" or "The Sixth Sense". I can't forget his voice over for "Look Who's Talking", he was great as baby Mikey. I like them all really but I think I watch the "Die Hard" series the most; especially the first and third. The first one had Alan Rickman and the second had Jeremy Irons and they were excellent villains.

Many thanks for your response to this 'old' discussion. He has been in some great films and has some great starring roles, I had completely forgotten he had been in Look Who's Talking. Truly talented actor, and I just loved Sixth Sense, especially watching it the first time round then suddenly realizing, very potent and powerful film indeed.

You are quite welcome :) I'm glad I could. I like Bruce Willis, he's a very good actor. I realized that though back when he was still on tv. No it wasn't on "Moonlighting" but on an episode of the "New Twilight Zone". He played a guy who had a doppleganger taking over his life and as the doppleganger got stronger he faded away. It was an excellent episode and really showed his acting ability.
Did you know for "Look Who's Talking" he didn't get a salary? He instead got a percentage of the profits and he made out like a bandit with it from what I understand. Made more then he would have other wise.

Isn't it strange. People say discussions are getting fewer responses recently and yet this discussion had not responses for 6.1/2 months and now it has lots today!
I just saw Bruce in Mercury Rising. Does anybody know how they either managed to get an autistic child to act or a child to act as autistic? It was brilliant acting.
I prefer Bruce in the first Die Hard though. That is still best.

I personally liked all of his films really. to me there isn't one that's than.. lol, except for "Armeggedon". That was an excellent movie.. It makes you want to shed a tear for someone who'll risk their life to save another.

Bruce Willis is one of my favourite actors, he has done so many excellant films, some of my favourites are ones that have already been mentioned, but I also enjoyed him in Bandits, Sin City and Pulp Fiction.

Die Hard and Sixth Sense were the first two movies that came to my mind, almost simultaneously. Also, as cheesy as it may sound I liked the Fifth Element.

I would go for Sixth Sense. There you find him as a very mature actor. he is understated and intense. The connection he establishes with the child just gets conveyed through subtle nuances. I like his Diehard movies, but am not much for the action-oriented ones really. May be that explains why I liked him in Sixth Sense.

I like the same as yours, but I like 12 monkeys, it was a rare movie, and Bruce Willis was brilliant on it. I'd like too the movie he did for Disney, I can't remember the exact name, he was a publicist and his past come to the present in the way of a boy...sorry for my explanation and my english :(

For me it has to be Unbreakable.
I had not heard of this film and when I watched it it really moved me for some reason. Maybe because it was out of the ordinary?
It is quite a strange film and nothing Bruce Willis had done before.
If you haven't seen it it is worth seeing!!
