How does books shaped up your life?

I've often wondered with the existence of computers nowadays, where everybody is indulge in net surfing, will books still hold an important role in our lives. Please give me your insights, specially those book lovers... Please tell me if books is still important. How did books shaped up your life.

Books for me are still important because it has its own advanatages although our world is internet based. I still read books like the Bible, self-development books, business books, money books, and others. At least, I can bring the book with me and read it whenever I am fre and doing nothing. I get a lot of lessons from reading books.
