Black dress - Black can be worn any time except in summer and on sunny days.

I am most of the time stuck to black and white ensembles. I always find a dress attractive if it isin either of the colour. It might be because I feel confident and lokk good in them. Waht about you? Why do you choose a particular colour? Do you have any fascination to a particular colour?

Most people have a favorite color but they may not know how to incorporate it into their wardrobe. If you know how to wear color clothing, this is an easy and inexpensive way to brighten your look and make yourself appear more approachable.

I love purple, it is my favourite colour generally so I love to wear it and it complements my blonde hair. I have a lovely purple winter coat and some very nice purple shoes. I think i will need to get a new purple bag soon! I don't dress head to toe in the colour, that would be a bit much, but I do like to try and incorporate it into my outfits.

Hmm that sounded diffrent. Purpule shoes, may be you meant dark purple ones, right?? And purple bag, Im sure you are very fond of that colour. It does suit me too :) I likw this combination of pista green shirt or top teamed with a purple sweater/cardigan. I feel it looks chick and I use this combination like that, but not many agree with me though!!

I love wearing red, red for me is a lucky colour, it expresses the real me, the confident me, I should wear red more often, I feel more attractive in red if that makes sense, however in my wardrobe I have very few red clothes, most of my clothes are blue which is a boring colour. Maybe if I was to buy more red clothes it would help my self esteem. I do think colours reflect your mood as well and each of us has our own 'special' colour which makes us who we really are deep down.

I just feel that blue isn't adventurous it's an every day colour, nearly everyone wears blue, so it doesn't really stand out does it? Blue is considered an every day wear, an every day colour and so many people wear blue, that's why it's nice to see other colours like red, orange and yellow even which I feel are adventurous colours. Hope that makes sense and I certainly don't mean that people who wear blue are boring. I wear blue all the time so for me it's the same old colour day in day out, so it's nice to break the cycle and wear red.

Oh i got you now..Yes I agree to waht you said, it is an everyday colour and you will find it in most mens wardrobe. It is so common. I have wondered why in most English films, the actors wear blue shirts all the time. They hardly wear any other colour. i even asked someone whether they have this blue code as office wear...i think most people abroad wear more blue..it isnt so common here in india. Here people are more experimental and you will get to see most of the possible colours on dresses. That include red too...But while for office wear, men usually tone the brightness down. Even same about women. Personally I like the colour blue, not the deep electric blue but sky blue, and scyan.

I agree with you that our favourite colour can lift up mood...not to mention the boost in confidence and feeling nice about it. But i wonder y u feel blue is a boring colour? Most men like to have blue shirts as their prominent office wear. My husband includes that list. I personaly feel it suits men...I mean I am saying from my perception of blue for boys and pink for girls attitude.

Generally my clothes consist of blue jeans and a variety of black or grey t-shirts & jumpers. I suppose my choice of colour is that I find black and grey to generally be smart looking no matter what you are wearing. Plus by not having a huge variation in colour choices it makes choosing what to wear on a day to day basis a very simple decision to make.

Hmm that is true about choosing waht to wear..It saves a lot of time..I remember this incident which happened when I used to stay with my mother...One night, there was this wedding reception and I hadnt planned in advance what to wear. So after coming from college and getting fresh I opened my wardrobe and sat there thinking for about half an hour...Finally confused, I asked mom for any suggestion...Frustrated she said better wear nothing...it will be the new 'in'!!! I was like what??? and she was like ofcourse you and your colour fixation!!!! hi hi

Hi malpoa, I finally learnt to match my wardrobe to a few key colours rather than buying something that doesn't go with anything else. As I'm very fair I find either turquoise or brown go best with my colouring so tend to stick to those. Black can make me looked washed out. Luckily I only have to think about clothes for summer or winter as we seem to only have two seasons anymore.

Hi malpoa, oh I have lots of different things in my wardrobe but I gave you my 2 favourites. The 2 seasons are basically hot and cold. This is a very informal area to live and for six months I practically live in jeans and boots, I like brown boots with brown jackets, but the tops can vary in colour and I do have some black ones when I think about it. Summer is shorts and tee shirts, or skirts, or dresses and I do love turquoise as I know it suits me. But I got a lovely cream dress the other week and I have a lovely green one. I don't do patterns any more at all. I definitely think I pick things now which suit me more than I did when I was younger as you get to know what works for you and I do feel really good in turquoise and brown and gravitate towards them now but turqoise is just for summer.I feel lucky to have a style which suits me and my lifestyle and absolutely no one guesses my correct age, the persumption that I am about 35 suits me well. I expect that you have very exotic colouring yourself. Do you wear Western dress or Indian style mainly?

I look best in a sari. I hope you know what a sari is. It is 5 and a half meter long cloth wrappe around your body...It shows off your curves and hides your negatives...But I am not comfortable in it as a daily wear...I wear clothes accordiong to climate...No jeans in summer...I wear loose cotton suits (salwar kameez, which is like a top and a pyjama) in summer...While me and my husband go out I most wear jeans...While isiting elders, it has to be traditional.

I think you have more choices...But I have seen fair ladies looking luscious in black...You must ask some of your close friends or relatives once again about the colour. Even the comination of black and white too will work wonders. I ave a lot of suggestion for you regarding colour. Please try maroon. It is sad to hear that you stick to a few colours. I am of wheatish complexion and most oxidised colour go well on me, but black enhances my look. There are a lot of colour I like but it doesnt look good on me... By the way why that you have only two seasons there?

Black is a slimming color, I only wear it when I go out to a big party or something. I prefer to wear white or tan but some day's I just wear my old jean's and a red Tshirt, just so I can be comfy.

That is strange but true, I mean ho can a colour make a person look slim right? I have seen fat people wearing a black dress to make them look younger. I know this tv actress who only wears black. She says she tried all the trick and excercise to slim down or cut out the fat, but nothing seemed to work in her favour. Now she only wears black...

Grey is good too, after all it is a version of black right? As a child I used to make diffrent colours from the basic colours I had in the paint box. I always used very innovative mixing, sometimes new coloured were produced, sometimes the basic and prominent one remained. But later I learned the science and funda behind colour combination. Grey shirt and a black trouser will be a killing combination. Grey trousers go well with cyan coloured shirt, infact it goes with most colours.

I like wearing orange. It's a special color and reminds me of the summer. I don't always find clothes in the color orange but I do happen to have found an orange pair or sweat pants and a orange hoodie. I also have a few orange tops. I'll mix and match them with other colored clothing but I always like having a little orange

It is an intresting colour. It reminds me of the tree flame of the forest. Hmm it is a good choice for summer and winter. It goes well with any dark coloured jeans, also with light blue jeans. Im sure it does make your face look bright.

White I guess - as it seems somewhat neutral, it still feels more positive than black or blue. Also, I guess the whole white thing kinda makes me feel more outstanding, as it seems to be popular to dress up in black and be a ninja on the street, although by ninja, I mean the goth or emo people (not that I would have any problems with such people, but still)

Yes tru tha tblack is quite a popular colour. I havent been to any foreign countries, but I do watch a lot of foreign movies and in most cases other than asian movies, most streets look like it have been washed with black. most people wear black there and men will be wearing a shirt in any of the shades of blue!!! India is a very colourfull country, and you will get to see even orange colour trousers on street here... By the way is blue a negative colour, how so?
