I do love watching horror movies. These kinds of movies sort of excite me all the more. The last movie that I watched was Orphan, and it was yesterday. The scenes are nothing new to me, because I do watch horror most of the time. It does not affect my sleep in any other way.

Horror movies is my favorite, I have a coolection of the movies at home and I just love to watch them, especially when I am alone at home where no one will disturb me, then I will go in my room and I will play the DVD in my laptop then I am sure to enjoy the movie to its best, at night also it is very good to watch it. I have to admit that I do get nightmares sometimes but I will continue to watch it because I love horror movies more than any other type of movies.

I am not a big fan of horror movies, but I will watch them if I have someone who would cuddle with me and protect me from all the scary parts LOL. I have a very active imagination and would end up having nightmares and be unable to sleep. So having someone to cuddle helps me sleep.

hi velentina!^^
i like watching horror films. that's one of my favorite genres. i like being scared. ^^;; it makes me laugh because it feels stupid to be scared from a movie. i do get nightmares about it sometimes and sometimes i can't sleep. but most of the time i'm fine. i don't think much about what i've seen. i think of happy thoughts so i can fall asleep. ^^

I love them actually my son and me both love them and perhaps have one of the largest collection of this genre. But it has to be good not just blood and gore something that reaches out and grabs you. Oddly they never cause nightmares much less scare me. Pretty cool.

I love to watch horror movies, and usually i have no side effects. But sometimes i let my immagination race and i start to immagine that if i open the door to go out i'll be face to face with Leatherface or that while i'm washing my hair a hand will get out of my head, ecc. When my immagination goes i get a little bit scared but this last for few seconds.

I can sit down to watch the old "Hamer Horror" Movies,"The Mummy",Frankenstein's Monster,Vampire Movies, even Zombie Movies..but the Slasher/gore/screamfest type Movies with nothing but people being horrifically mutilated, hunted and dismembered are just not my thing! In saying that, though,I have the "Blade" Vampire hunter series on DVD,Brendan Fraser/Rachel Weisz's Mummy Movies,28 days/28 weeks Later, and the "Alien" Series in my collection! So it seems, throw in some Fantasy or SciFi and it works better for Me..

I don't like watching horror films, they give me nightmares especially if I've watched it at night, I can't seem to get it off my mind. When I was younger I watched them all the time, but not now I can't..lol.

I enjoy most of them except the slasher films (Friday the 13th, Freddie Kruger, etc.) A well written and well done horror film is entirely possible (like Frankenstein, Dracula, etc.)

Those are my favorite!! I cannot get enough of horor films. When I was in high school I could pretty much watch everything and never get scared, it seems like now I can get scared much easier. I just don't do well in watching new scary movies in places I have never been before. Like when we go and rent condo's in the mountains and watch scary movies. Then I just get scared much easier than if I am to watch them when I am at home. I am just obsessed with movies like that though. I always watch true crime shows and movies with all the gory details of how serial killers work or how people were murdered.

I used to love watching horror films. Its kind of silly because you love the suspense and the scare it gives you. You can feel your heart beating faster, unknowingly you clench your hands, you lean forward in your chair or jump up at the slightest noise and all that gives you a weird kind of thrill. You don't want to watch, but yet you want to know what's going to happen next kind of thing. But I have now stopped watching because after a movie, I started locking all doors and windows and even looking under my bed, and behind cupboards before going to bed and it started to become a problem.

I like horror films that actually scare me and don't just gross me out. In otherwords I like a horror film with some kind of story. Not just teenagers going camping and getting mutilated by some axe murder. I think the scariest horror film I've seen are the nightmare on elm street ones. The gorriest ones would be the friday the 13th series. Freddie is way better than Jason. Maybe because he has a personality. A sick twisted sense of humor.

I love horror films, not slashers, but real horror films. There is something about people wanting to be terrified for an hour or two on screen knowing you go home safely. I especially love them around halloween.

I absolutely don't like watching horror movies. Like you, I often have nightmares, and find it real hard to sleep. Even if it had been a couple of hours that I've watched the movie, it still the same in my mind and the more I felt scared the more it become so real. I guess because I have this kind of very active imagination. You know when I was a kid the first that I'd watched a horror film, (I can't remember the title, but it's a bloody film)I throw up, my insides felt so bad. It's like the feeling of seeing a bloody accident. So that's why I don't really like horror movies.

I havent seen any really good scary horror movies in year's. Most of the newer one's to me are not that good. I wish they would make something again that would really scare the crap out of all of us. But it seem's like the older movie's were much better.
