Think of it suppose someone had all the money but no eyes or ears or was bedridden for life can he be happy. And also think of a situation where you have billions of dollars like the top industrialists today but will there be ever a day when you can say that no more money I am happy now. Well you have to have a balance and of course a sense of satisfaction and if you start counting your blessings you will be happy. At least I do the same every day and thank GOD for giving me all that I have .

I think some amount of money is essential for enjoying life. But, term 'some' is not properly defined. In my opinion, maybe earning $ 1000 a month per person is a reasonable amount. However, I feel some things like love, family, friends, standing by your beliefs, etc is more important than money for enjoying life.

You only have to look around you to know that money doesn't really have much to do with happiness. The happiest people I know are people who enjoy the little things in life. A beautiful day, a new plant flowering or the birds singing happily. People with money have a lot more things, but that doesn't mean that they appreciate them, in fact they usually want more of everything, which results in dissatisfaction.

Hear hear! I love observing people - how they react to things. A walk along the Dorset coastline and a stay on a campsite was full of happy, smiling faces and funny conversations (mostly - at least, when it wasn't raining). A stay in a top hotel and a visit to a theme park was full of stress, angst, and people complaining their coffee was cold (in my experience, anyway)
Believe me, the best things in life really are free.

I think it depends on each person. For some money is everything and cannot imagine a life without a thick wallet..According to me life is a beautiful gift of god and money can never come between me and my happiness..Just sit on the sands of the beach and watch the waves for 15 minutes, think about all the beautiful and wonderful things you have, your family, friends and remember that god have given you eyes to see speech , legs to walk , which many don't have...Then ask youself if money matters for you...True , you need money to live, for food and to do all the things you want to do...but you just need some of it and then all the love of the world

although the money could not buy anything and make me happy, but if i have no money, this make me more sad,i could not do more useful thing, because i earn that money that only make a living and could not enough money to do what i want,i found my hope and my aim could not finish,i often trouble by it and could not any interst about it,i often work for my life and could not have enough money and time to enjoy life,so i try my best to do what i want, maybe somebody said mormal people could satisfied with mormal life, but i could not feel that i enjoy mormal life,i found that the life is very hard in my mind,i don't know how many time i cred alone,if the god give me chance,i hope that don't accept more attempt from life, have good heart to enjoy life.

Money is definitely important in life, but it should not be the most important item in life. We should have time to live life, and to enjoy life. To go through life by accumulating more and alienating others is keeping yourself short of life's joys. We should earn enough to support ourselves, but not until we give up other life's essentials.

I thing the best way to enjoy life is to take it as it comes. Because If winter is around can spring be far behind. i think money is not most important thing to enjoy the every moment of life but it is needed. It is as someone has said, Its somehow better to cry in Mercedes than on streets. :)

Family are what's important - especially kids. I'm a single mum with 4 lovely kids. Luckily things aren't as bad now but I remember when we hadn't a penny to our names. we'd pack a picnic bag a bottle of water and go for long hikes.
Last year we sat on Box Hill and watched the meteorite shower. It didn't cost us a penny (except for a bit of petro) but we remember every wonderful moment.
