I highly doubt this is true and it sounds like an urban legend created to discredit Facebook. I have been a Facebook user for sometime now and never had any issues at all. They have a strict privacy policy in order to ensure everyone's anonimity. Believe me, Facebook would not sell their users' information. They are a major rival to MySpace and becoming more popular by the day. There is no way that they would endanger their reputation in such a manner. I don't know what your source for this information was, but unless it's backed up by some hard facts, it's just a bunch of nonsense meant to lure people away from Facebook.
