I understand! I'm using my phone for work purpose as well so I sortta need it. I don't the house phone - landline - at all. Only reason I have landline is because I have DSL as internet service so I sortta need a phone line in the house. Also my land line phone is pretty much basic & I only use it for incoming calls only, for my daughter.

I share a plan with my dad and we have i believe 1200 minutes to use in a month and i don't even think we use the 600 minutes because we barely ever talk on the phone. He use's the house phone we have to make calls most of the time. I never use my phone to talk but to text message as i have unlimited text messages and it is a lot easier for me to use the text messaging when I'm out in public and i don't have to have others listening to me talk, but when I'm driving i would rather talk then text message as it is more safe.

Hi sathish
I rarely talk on the phone. I prefer to send text message because it's cheaper and I can think what to say (sometimes I lost words on phone) or chatting in facebook Since I change my phone operator, I spend less thant $10 in one month. Most of my friends and relatives use that operator and it cost free to send text message and $0.18 for calls no matter how long but they will cut off the calls after half hour more..still, it's enough for me. Before I use this operator, I can spend $20 a month

I just have a cheap prepaid cell phone that I use. I only buy so many minutes at a time for it. I mainly use mine to send text messages with. I never use it to talk on because it costs too much and I do not like talking on the phone.

I have a trak phone and spend at the most 20.00 on it every 3 months. I use it only for my daughter or people close to me getting in touch with me if they really need to and if I am not at home. It is good if i'm on the road and something happens. If someone wants to just chat with me then they need to catch me at home.

I have a phone with 450 minutes a month and my bill each month is about 46 dollars and some change. I don't text or do email on my phone. I don't want to give the cellphone company not an extra 10 of my money. I think they are companies that ripoff people everyday. Having to sign contracts for two years or pay 200.00 dollars to get out of it. This is out and out robbery as far as I'm concerned.

I spend about Rs.350 per month approximately for the calls on my cellphone. As I have a prepaid account I am very careful about making calls and talking for a long time.

I do not use my cell phone unless it is for emergency. I am still old school I still have a landline in my home. I use the landline for all my phone calls. I use that cell phone if I am not home. I think cell phone cost to much and they always get you hooked on contracts. The most I ever spend in a month on cell phone is about 10 dollars. Happy lotting.

I just pay a certain amount every month with a set amount of minutes. If I should ever go over my minures then I would have to pay $0.40 per minute, which is quite expensive. I have enough minutes so I don't go over. I have 900 minutes and I never get that many at all, but I do get half of that every month. I used to have 450 minutes, but when I got rid of my landline, I changed my plan to add more minutes since it will be the only phone I use. My daughter is on the same network I am so it doesn't affect our minutes when we talk. It does help to have her on the same netowrk, as sometimes we talk for more than an hour a day when we do talk that is. Just paying a monthly fee with a set amount of minutes is the best for me. Have a very good day, and happy mylotting.

No, i prefer more more text messaging them rather than calling, it's a lot easier that way. that reminds me i should charge my phone again since am expecting another text message from some one

Chalk me up as another one who prefers texting...it's not only quicker and easier, people can text while doing other things more easily than they can talk on the phone while doing other things (not driving, of course) and phones tend to make less noise when people get a text than when they get a call, so I feel like I'm not disturbing people quite as much if I text them--which they can choose to respond to later, at their convenience--then if I were to call them in the middle of whatever it is they're doing.
I have never gone over my maximum peak minutes since I've had a cell phone contract, and I have unlimited texting with my current plan and a company discount through my dad, so I don't spend a ton on my cell.
