Everyone has at least one best friend, but why are they are our "best" friend? What sets them apart from our other friends? For me, the answer is simple. My best friend is my "best" friend because she has been there for me when nobody else has been. We met in a play we were acting in, and we honestly didn't speak until the end of the production. However, when we did begin speaking to eachother, the results were amazing. She is a "tough love" kind of woman, and that is exactly what I need in a friend. I suffer from severe depression and anxiety, and there were many instances where she's needed to give me a metaphorical slap to the face. Sure I didn't like being yelled at, being criticized, but in the long run, it was the best thing anyone could do for me. She saved my life. That's why she is my best friend. Why is your best friend your "best"?

The reason my best friend is the best friend I could have is because he knows me like no other....he knows when to talk when I need him to talk and knows when to shut up when I need him to...he knows the right things to say when I need to hear them...he is just always there for me and I'm really not sure what I would do without him.

What I like about my bestfriend is that she is always there for me when i need her the most. She always has a shoulder for me to cry on, she is always supportive. I love my bestfriend like a sister and treat her as such too. Yes we have our arguements but we both explain ourselvs and get over it. We dont ever let anything interfeer with the bond that we have.
