According to the MyLot guidelines, you can only post in English. You can read all of the guidelines here http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx but the part about language states:
"DO Post in English, unfortunately the staff at myLot is not bilingual.
"DO NOT Post symbols or languages other than English unless you are asking how to translate a word or a phrase."
If you post in another language, your posts will be deleted. If you break the guidelines repeatedly, you could risk having your account terminated.
Of course, if you make other MyLot friends on here that speak the same language as you, you can always send each other private messages in whatever language you'd like!

oh thanks for ur reply
now i came to know that i can send me private messages in our local language to my friends....thats good to hear
but will mylot delete discussions if it is posted in local language?y?
if any post is in a non-english language then some users could reply....so whats the problem?
i didnt get this point
but i think mylot staff may not be aware of that language....thats y they may delete the post....

Yeah, the only reason you can't post in another language besides English is because the MyLot staff can only read English. And they'd have no way of knowing if the discussions were appropriate for this site or not.

but if the mylot staff know local languages, i mean then can recruit local people so that can develop mylot.

You could try typing your discussion in your own language, then using Babelfish (it's free) to translate - the "english2 will read a bit odd, but it will be understandable to the majority.
You can also use BF to translate english answers back into Hindi - again, the translation may read a bit odd, though.

Sorry to disappoint you amarhits8, but mylot will only accept discussions in English. This is so that it is as universal as possible (plus they are based out of the US, so there are a lot of English users). It's okay if the English isn't perfect, so whatever you wanted to post, give it a shot! Best of luck here on mylot! :)
