Does referral exchange works for you?

I see that many exchange sites and be referrals of each other. I just can't do that because I have already joined a few sites and I am not so interested in joining the same kind of site. If a site is different then I consider joining it.
For this reason, referral exchange doesn't work for me.
How do you do it? Do you join new site every time?
Just share how referral exchange can work effectively if you have joined most of the good sites.

I personally think it doesn't work. If you were to to an exchange just to get 20referrals that would make you join 20 different sites. Well to me, its not an easy task to handle that many sites at once. It may be just me since i've got my own GPT site to handle. And what about the other 20 different sites? You'll need referrals again and you'll be doing an exchange again. At the end of the day, 100 different sites? Its kinda ridiculous to do something like that. I've personally did an exchange two or three times and that's it.

no, I don't join new sites that often. Because, max of the sites aren't legit, very few are. I join & be regular on a site that seems very very legit to me. If you want to offer any site, then first checkout how legit it & then offer, also you can check my profiles for the most legit sites ever...
