Mac os or windows os? Which is better?

Mac OS and The new Windows os are both equally good in terms of their capabilities. But let me tell you one thing . If you have a windows machine and a mac both of the same configeration then the performance of mac os is much higher than that of the windows os. This is because windows os is hardware independant whereas mac os is hardware dependant i.e. you can install windows on any hardware but in case of mac it can be installed only on apple hardware.

i think MAC is the best Operating System. It has many cool features and cool design and an elegant design and unique laptop design. It also has a great performance. I think the best point is in the performance, MAC is one of the best multimedia computer in the world. It is highly recommended for a designer, coz it has a good performance when we use i for multimedia computer, such as 3D design, Image Design, Photo Editor, play Music, Video and other. That why MAC is expensive. MAC bring quality to us..!!!!

windows is the best operating system i can say is the best one , but i have not worked with A Mac, yet but i worked on various operating systems of Linux still it is open source iworked on it more it was great operating system but not so much user freindly, we must know about it before using that operating system, it is always free of virus and all that if you want user userfreidnly Linux veriosn i usggest you get the opensuse linux it is very user friendly operating system..

It really depend on what your preferences are. both of them are user friendly, but my choice is Windows I used the OS for very long time now and havent find any problem using this one.

As far as I think, Mac OS is the far more better than any other Windows OS. The only thing why Windows OS are sold more than Mac OS is due to the fact that, Mac OS is pretty costly and it actually requires high configuration. And the reviews which came across for Windows 7, they even say that Microsoft has tried to follow the path of Mac to make the Windows 7 more secured, easy to use, better graphics ... I would love have a Mac OS if I can afford and get the right configurations. Now its upto you decide whether you should go for Mac OS or Windows OS, or better wait untill Windows 7 is launched and then decide.

I think when it comes to security MAC is better than Windows. I have never heard og MAC being hacked or having virus. But when it comes to user-friendliness, Windows is much better.

ehehe...it is a really infinite question about this 2 big os!!So personally if i must choose between mac or windows i think i will decide for windows as well!!I never understood why i must consider better the macos one..normally user interface is thesame,easy to use is the same..may be windows have more softwares vailable on the contrary mac have many but for all you need to buy an expensive license!!So in reality i don't see the real deal towards mac...if really i want change my os excluding windows i think i will choose some linux distribution smarter as security and speed than windows or mac and have so all softwres open source so why not...

I used to only like Windows, we had to use Mac's at college and I couldn't understand them. However I got a Macbook earlier this year and after about 2 days I could understand everything fine. I now hate using windows computers as everything just makes sense on the Mac. You will only realise what I mean when you have used a Mac for yourself. The great thing I like about my Mac is that it can run Windows XP if I need it for a particular application that won't run with Mac OSX. I have yet to use that yet though lol.

To me windows is the best. Maybe it is because i am use to it not use to mac. SO what is so amazing about mac? I know most software are made for windows. So why would i want mac. I heard that it is also easier to get virus (or maybe they said windows was easier to get virus. I don't remember that one) but any way i still think i prefer windows over mac.
