Does myLot make you think?

I am the type of person who does a great deal of thinking daily about numerous things, but since I spend a fair amount of time here on mylot I have become a lot more of a non-stop thinker. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing as I am already a big thinker and an analyzer. I tend to analyze things until they can no longer be analyzed. Sometimes I even get more frustrated when I cannot analyze things anymore.

I know that a few discussions have made me think about the past, and they have made me remember some good memories, stuff that i have not thought about for years. I know that my typing has improved it does not take me long anymore to type a sentience.

I have to agree with you, mylot does make me think. I do think that everyone who has joined mylot is thinking. I mean, if you respond to a discussion, you are going to think about your answer and think about what the discussion starter is trying to say, and what the other responders are saying. It is quite healthy to think, so mylot is healthy. Just like doing sudoku.

well yes frist when i joined mylot i was thnking abt posting new topic day and night but sllowly i got bzy with my work so ....i totally forget about new topics and just concentrate in posting responses

I have to admit it, mylot helps me to think a lot. Something i did not usually do. I guess i am trying to keep an update topic. Trying make discussions everyday. It have improve my grammar because of the spell checker. It is turning me into a better English person. The 500 word task would help me dramatically to improve my English. too bad i cant write that good to complete the task and i am afraid the task get rejected. So yes i admit to it that mylot has change me in a whole new person. A better one in fact.

I couldn't agree more. I love posting responses to discussions on mylot because it gives me a chance to really think about topics that I might not have ever thought about otherwise. I also think it is interesting to get someone else's perspective on topics. I am home often with my children, and aside from the friends I have, I don't get much time for adult conversation. This gives me that opportunity.

Mylot does make me think a lot when I answer others discussions. Usually I also put in some personal experiences and it makes me remember the good memories I had. Mylot is a great site. Happy mylotting

Hello Aravind, Oh a thinker for sure. I especially worry about the spelling...lol...Everybody on here is awesome and gets along well. Respecting everyones opinion, it's so important. Definately!! This site has opened doors in this little mind that I never knew were there..And the things I am learning! That 'sponge' part of my mind has something to do again. And there's that simple thrill that someone in east somewhere, off across the great pond, agrees with this relocated farmboy in Atlanta..Commonality at such a distance. This site is definately a good place to be. My little mind can flourish here, and become more agile.. And thanx for making me think..ENJOY!

Surely mylot has helped in buliding me as a thinker of free world out there.The more I think of mylot the more I start a keen interest in everything going out in the world.From small to big all keeps on revolving in my head.In this short time interval I have changed a lot as a perspective viewer of all things you know,I'm not kidding.

It helps me to think more fully on the ideas I wish to convey in a discussion or in a response. I get to correct my bad spelling too if I make a mistake. I find Mylot a great resource when I have a difficult question needing an answer.

So do I ,mylot make's me think. Thinking about many things.....topic.....response.....my english grammar....etc. But I am enjoy. Please you correct if there a mistake because my english grammar not smooth

mylot does trigger thought spontaineouly and you have to see the already posts on the mylot forum before replying to a topic which interests you this necessarily invoves thought and its inference that way mylot is unique from other social networking sites that iswhy I love mylot though my posts ae dleted I do not mind because Ithink that what ever the admin does in their prudence is correct and coducive for the mylot This is the result o positive thought that mylot inspires,

My Lot definitely makes you think! When I'm logged into My Lot I guess I get involved in a lot of thinking time! There are just so many different ideas and views being shared here and it's also an excellent learning experience. I love the posting aspect too! This improves my typing! Ok, I must not get off the subject! I love posting a lot on other people's disscussions, they have been doing the serious thinking! I find it hard at times though to think about what discussion to create. I think that I will try and make more of an effort. It's nice to have others respond to your views, to see what they think and so forth. Andrew

Yes mylot discussion do make me think. I try very hard to make sure I add something new to the discussion. I always reread what I write so I can catch my errors but of course I still do miss some once in awhile.

I guess some how it helps me develop my ability to think a little bit fast and tell my ideas at a nick of time. it's been helpful to me because I am able to practice my typing and allows me now to type with out even looking at the key board., like what am doing right now. but this, took me like more than 6 months, but i wasn't even aware of it..mylot made me..look smart.at least

hi aravindkrd! yes, mylot made me a thinker. after one discussion i used to push myself to do another one, and another one, and another one. this makes me practice my thinking and writing ability. i am having fun while mylot-ing. since i don't have more time to do mylot-ing, once i ge the chance i maximize my time and write/comment a lot!
