should guns be legal?

after dunblane guns have been pretty much banned in the uk. however they appear to be seen as as a basic right in the us...what is your view?

They are a basic right in the United States. The US was built on the basic rights of the public to defend themselves. Sadly too few Americans today defend themselves. But it is still a right.

Actually kenny, Iran's government is called a theocratic republic. It's not a communist nation.

If those in power become unreasonable and dangerous, wouldn't you like a way to defend yourself if it came to that?
