I know SH had some problems a while back, but I'd recommend anyone wanting a kosher survey site joins NOW - they're okay.
I've just cashed out nearly $50 to my paypal account (in GBP) - one of which was a survey on mobile phone use, value = $15 for 15 mins work. A dollar a minute isn't bad, folks - though on average the surveys are roughly $2 for 15 - 20 min work, sometimes they are higher (usually, those for business) Thought you should know.

I gave up on ciao - the most I ever got offered was 0.10 - and that was for almost an hour's work!

Toluna are fun, but I still haven't claimed anything yet, though doing the mini-quesstionnaires ups the points, and are great time wasters.
I've not heard of Pure Profile - I'll look them up. Thanks.

I LOVE surveyhead. I have been a member of that site for about 6 months now and am on nearing my second payout!! So yes, I too can say they are a legit site. My first payout was around $30. This next payout will be around $40. I love their surveys. You can often take surveys worth 4 or 5$ which is just awesome. The money adds up so quickly when you're taking surveys like that.

Hi Jennlk84 and thanks for the info on Surveyhead. I have heard of this site before by reading here on Mylot but never joined because I hear such bad things about Survey sites. This has boosted my confidence way up to hear how they pay per survey. How much does it cost to join and how long was it before you earned your first payout?

It costs nothing to join. I think cashout is $25 - can't remember that bit! If you answer as many surveys as possible, you start getting invites to the better paying ones. I waited ages to cash out, then did so twice in quick succession. Both times because I answered one-off professional IT usage questionnaires at 10 - 15 dollars apiece.
I work for my old company part-time, so it's easy for me to get company surveys. These pay the best - I guess because not that many people who do on-line surveys have high profile company jobs. You tend to get screened out unless you're a CEO or H of D.
My job isn't high profile; but I work directly with my CEO, and the role has given me a lot of high profile contacts. I use their knowledge to help give honest answers. As the questions are about the company, rather than my personal role within it, I consider that an acceptable option to earn a few extra pennies. After all, the facts aren't being made up, as such!

Hi Jazzsue, thanks for the advice on the Survey Site...at the moment I am so busy on another site I really don't think it would be feasible to join, yet the money would seriously come in handy! Will probably sleep on it then decide what to do...LoLo
