Women dress sexy because they also want people to look at them right?

I hope this discussion won't offend people, especially ladies. So, I have a question here, and maybe my assumption was wrong. I always thought that some ladies dress so sexy, with their belly exposed, and "hot body" style of clothing, their ultimate intention is to attract people's eyes, and show the public what they got. So, if a man take an extra look with a long moment, the lady won't mind at all, right? Because they might feel proud of what they got, since people already gave their attention.

I think every women dresses that way for their own reason, but they have to realized that people might take it a different way. Dressing sexy can mean many things so that women should be prepared for all the responses.

Well, you know, most men just looking at it for one reason, and we all knew what that is. It won't be that be easy to clarify the whole artistic reason why women do that.

To a degree, I agree with you. Not totally though.
A lot of people dress "sexy" to feel good about themselves; to feel confident - and to look in the mirror and be proud of what they see. At the same time, I DO feel like a lot of it has to do with getting attention and having people approve of you & your looks. It makes me a little mad when girls, who dress a certain way, get all angry that men stare too long - when they're kind of asking for it, to be honest. Not really sure on that one. But for me, it's definitely a mixture of both. I like dressing up (maybe not dressing to "show my hot body" but at least dressing in a way that is attractive - at least to me) - it helps me feel more confident in myself, and in some environments it feels necessary (at the casino, while going out with friends), it's just FUN to play around and get all dressed up, and because the male attention IS good! It might not be the WHOLE reason we're dressing up, but I can almost guarantee to you that it has a little something to do with it.

wow, great perspective from your view of points on this topics. In most men opinion, when women dress sexy like that, it seems that they ask attention for it. They might seems want all the men to look at their hot body. But thanks to clarify it.

yeah it's nice to get noticed, in the right way. i'm not trying to gloat here, i went out the other week to get my son from a b'day party. i put on a pair of pants that i'v not worn in nearly 12 months and they were lose around my thighs, just enough. then the top hadn't been worn in a few months and it was lose round my waist, i felt fantastic in it. just different, i know i've lost centermeter's but when you really fell it. it makes you want to dress sexier.
i can't get away with a short top now, as much, got to much of a belly there i'm working on getting rid off.

Hm ... I just thought, If I wear sexy dress , its make me more confident and feel better. That's all, do not have a mind to tease men with sexy clothes. Except our pair / husband

I do guess that is the ultimate reason why, and all other reasons just follow through.

Clorissa my dear, I hope that you aren't thinking about dressing this way just because some other young ladies out there are doing so. You must always dress nicely for yourself my dear, not to attract those young men. The young men this sort of dress could attract are probably the wrong sort of young men for you dear.

I agree with you to a point, SOME women dress in slinky, sexy clothes to gain attention, but other women really do dress that way because they feel comfortable with themself. It does, undoubtedly, make any woman feel a little better about herself when a guy is checking her out and thinks she looks good, but not all women seek that attention.
