How many different sets of dishes do you have?

I think a lot of people have 4 or 5 different sets all in the kitchen that don't match, but you use them anyways. I have 5 different sets, certain ones my husband is not allowed to touch because he breaks so much.

there are more than one set in our house too.in the house where my mother and father lives.there two sets are not in use at all.they are only taken out when somebody special comes.we get to eat in the least special ones.i have a reputation of breaking anything that i touch.i have ones broke a wooden spoon.i don't know how that happened till today.it just happened.so my mother is protecting them from me,i guess.

I have almost a full set of mixed pieces of dishes. I did have a full set of the same dishes, but my kids kept breaking them. Over the summer my dad gave me a bunch of mixed dishes from when I was a kid. I was sooo glad to get them. Sounds strange, but with kids in the house I really dont think about our dishes matching. I just use what I have. I was just happy to get them, I was ready to go buy more because I was down to about 3 plates and bowls. Now we have plenty.

I think we have odds and ends from 3 sets. We probably will weed them down to one set though since there's only 3 of us.

I have two sets, and both match. I have my corelle dishes that we use all the time. I also have a set of antique china that belonged to my great aunt which stays put away all the time for lack of a place to display it.
