MacGyver film have you ever heard anything about it?

That's certainly a blast from the past and would love to see a movie version. I would have 3 choices for the role as each would bring something unique to it. Firstly would be Scott Caan, then either Giovanni Ribisi or Johnny Galecki. I think the thing they have to do is to avoid going down a like for like comparison with Richard Dean Anderson as it would make it too much like a second rate copy.

this is a tough one. first because i dont know who hayden is har har har. second it is no longer MacGyver if it is not Richard Dean Anderson, third its hard for us MacGyver fans to accept that it is not him who will be playing the role. but for the sake of the discussion, i dont like to be a kill joy.... josh duhamel? jerry o'connel? i dont know who to choose.

I hadn't heard anything about this movie concept as yet..will be interesting to see who would get chosen for this role! I suppose it depends how the movie is being portrayed,ie,would it be a McGyver Reboot like they did with "Starsky and Hutch" with New Actors in the famous roles,or would it just Be McGyver 20 Years on? Although I'm thinking with all the reboots going on,it's not going to be "Old" McGyver,but He'll have a Cameo Role somewhere..Christensen May be a bit Young for this Role Yet..(unless it's going to be a sort of prequel..)The Character has life experience and Military type Skills of Someone say in their mid 30's or so..Would Nathan Fillion (Serenity/Firefly/Slither) fit? He'd be About the right agegroup,and has done both Action and comedy...We'll see how it goes

I love MacGyver... and i think they need to remake it as a tv series... or a movie first then a tv series... for sure with the right story, plot, and cast... it would be a big hit... But i don't know anyone that is suited for the role of MacGyver... since Richard Dean Anderson did such a good job in bringing him to life... i wonder if the movie is already in production?...

ofcourse i will choose none other than hayden christensen.hayden can play any kind of role and no doubt that he's a good actor(aside from he's cuteness).yah you're right there sis,he is relly good on portraying his role in his movie JUMPER.ive seen that movie and i like the way he portrayed his role.i hope that hayden will be the one who will play the role of mcgyver coz i really like hayden christensen.hey sis,how about huge jackman?don't you like that huge will play the role of mcgyver hahhahah...well i will still go for hayden.

No way! for me, Anderson will always be Mcgyver to me and who ever plays the roles, i would say [b]"you just stole mcgyvers body"[/b] . i don't know about the new movie if anderson is not going to replay his role on that, as long as he's alive he should play that role

Having anyone but Richard Dean Anderson play MacGyver would be like having a peanut butter sandwich without jelly, sacrilege. People are known by what they have done. Vince Lombardi will always be the coach that comes to mind when you think of the Green Bay Packers just like Arnold (Red) Auerbach will always be who comes to mind when you think of the Boston Celtics. I always thought that the only real James Bond was Sean Connery.

hi roni!^^ i haven't heard of this until now! wow! that would be great! i used to watch Macgyver before too! the show was pretty amazing with all its tricks. i will definitely watch that movie if there really is one coming up. as with the actor to play the role, i don't think Hayden Christensen would fit. i think he's looks too young for the role. i remember Macgyver looking more matured.^^

2008? I'd be surprised if it hasn't then not come about for some reason - that was a year ago - I'd like to see RDA reprise the role, but then again... ahhh well....

I have to go with your choice, that would be a good fit. I never was a fan of MacGyver, i actually used to hate it but my Grandma was a huge fan and thought he was dreamy . So when I lived with her about 14 years ago, when they still played the reruns, she used to watch it everyday and gab about how handsome he was . Thank you for posting this, it brought back irritating but still fond memories

Why the hell would they do another MacGyver movie and why the hell would they do it now? If Harrison Ford could play Indy again, Richard Dean Anderson can play MacGyver. I mean, he is MacGyver and no one can replace him.

I think richard dean can still do the job. after all macgyver was more of a genius than an athlete. But i would love a good actor for a villain to play the role of "merdoc" am i corret?

hi roniroxas wow thats one tv show I always watched and we'used to joke about how MacGyver used duct tape in a pinch.I would love'tosee this made into a movie but why couldnt Richard "Dean Anderson play himself in it? If not then your suggestion sounds good just so they really get this film out. I would love to see it as I have been 'a great fan of MacGyver.

yah, i remember. i like his theory and the way to solving problem. natural, not magic, but it's make me and my family interest to it. it's great film, before Naruto. i think Naruto has the same thing from mcGyver in the natural technique
