I have about 40 dollars in my wallet right now which I guess would be around 2000 Rupees unless my math is really that bad. Hopefully the 40 bucks could last me a week or two since I stocked up the fridge already. happy mylotting

Thats right, $40 would be around Rs. 2000, may be a hundred or so lesser than that..
Thanks for the response

Right now I have about RM7 with me in cash, which might equal to somewhere about $2 in US dollars. lol.
This amount for me in my country is usually enough to buy a lunch or dinner meal for you, that's really all that I need most of the time if I had my own drinks to carry around I can probably use this amount the whole day (twice the meals).
But I would always need to withdraw more from the ATM machine, hehe, when the cash runs out. I only have a debit card with me, I don't use it much.

I think I have about thirty American dollars in my wallet right now. This is very unusual for me as I rarely carry cash. I usually pay for everything with my bank card. I only have the cash because I sold some things at a craft show this weekend. I deposited most of it and am keeping the rest to pay for my daughter's gymnastics classes.

I got into the habit of not carrying around a lot of money because my youngest can smell it and always wanted something if I had cash. Now that she's grown and has moved out I keep a little bit on hand...mostly for the ice cream truck since my grandkids live nextdoor. Right now I have about $18 on me.

I have 25 dollars at this time. I usually don't have anything because I only use my debt card. However, I had a garage sale the other day so that is why I have the money in my wallet. I find it alot easier just to carry a debit card.

Hi buzzmaker
I believe it's different in each country.
Now I only have $8 in my wallet. It's enough to buy food and pay taxi fee in emergency situation but I have my debit card and I can use it anytime I need to buy something. I think have $20 in my wallet is enough. If I need more, I can always go to ATM or nearest bank. If I wanna shopping, of course I will carry more, depends on the things that I wanna buy. On average if I shopping, carry $40 is enough to buy a pair of shoes and clothes

Well right now in my pocket there is no $$, but in my purse I might have $40 if lucky that will have to last me until payday on Wednesday. Personally I think the amount that is enough to carry around with you depends on the situation as in where you are at, what you are needing to do with it, and what type of $$ you might have coming in again later as well. I know that many times I am leary about carrying too much money around with me a lot of the time in fear of it being stolen or lost somehow as well.
