Do you have a cousin close to you?

I have a lot of cousins. Of whom I knew and grew with. But no particular one that stays close to me. Maybe because w e are always in groups in all our activities. But all of them have special place in my heart. For all of them are kind to me.
Do you have a cousin close to you? Almost like a best friend?

I have a first cousin I am extremely close to; she's ten years older than I am so I can't really say we grew up together but she has always been a mentor and the closest thing I have to a sister (I have one brother, no sisters). She just got engaged and I am very excited about that! She and I definitely have a special relationship that really can't be compared with the rest of the family, though we're all pretty close-knit.

That is so nice to know. Our cousins do act and can be considered like our siblings, too.

I totally agree. I am very lucky to be so close to her and that she is always there to give advice and encouragement and look out for my well-being.

yeah i have a lot of cousins close to me and we share secrets,problems,advices with one another...i do love hanging out with them because it's fun and some of them are like of childhood friends...and it's like you really know each other that well...but to tell you the truth i don't treat them as best friends...cause i have friends of mine that i call my best friends...and it's more comfortable to talk to them about secrets and a lot of matters..cause when you talk to your cousin sometimes they spill it out to they're parents which is our uncle's & aunties and sometimes it causes trouble and misunderstandings between us...but even so we're still close...

There are really some cousins of ours that are not best friend materials but can be categorized as brothers or sisters.

I'm pretty close to one of my cousins. She's about 5 years younger than me but we talk and have fun a lot. I couldn't talk to her about relationships or anything but we could talk about anything else. she would ask me for advice in school and about my experiences and I would complain to her about my friends

Sometimes age does not really matter. It is how you treat one another & the activities you enjoyed doing together are what matter most.
