Most of us are working. Now there are different people in different jobs with different backgrounds. In your job, do you really think, that other than this recession and all negative things, you are paid appropriately according to your qualification.
I think the company is just exploiting me. With nearly 5 years of experience and very high educational qualification, I am paid very less. People with less experience and less qualification are paid much even in our same organization.
I want to change this job very much, but with the market still not up, unless I get some thing very good, I have to wait.

Hello subha. I am somewhat content with what I am paid for my qualification, though not one hundred percent. Compared with many other staff on campus, I think that my salary is pretty good on my side. But I hope that my boss will give us staff a rise, however much it is. I wish you good luck, my dear friend.

hi subha yes you should get paid more as you have been
there for some time.It could be yes your are getting'
exploited as maybe they think you are so good you will'just'
stay there like a good little girl. I remember you from some'time back.I am retired but I always felt the library system really'exploited all of us as they continually called poor
'mouth and went for several years without giving us a raise'at
all. they knew we all loved working in the library but we were'p;aid less than people out in public jobs. county jobs arent always'that well paid as people think they are.dont quit your job until you'
get another one lined up.this economy really is bAd.

A little pay rise sure wouldn't hurt. I've longed realize the most surest method to earn big is through having one's own business..but even then, companies are feeling the pinch too with all this economic downturn. Hopefully, I could achieve my long term goal of having my own business.

Hey Subha, what you said is just exactly the real situation of most of employee I think~~And due to the financial crisis, most companies need to cut the buget and thus will not increase employee's salary~
Regarding to the qualification,I would say it just a standard when evaluating our salaries, that of coz, most scenarioes are unbalance~~but I think as long as we have something special or say experties,we will find the very job that offer us our expected payment~
Good luck`~

I have already faced this type of problem, for that i contacted our employer about that. he just explained me differently and didnt give me handsome amount. I have observed many employees who left job, just to show them and then compel employer to increase their salary. So you can use this trick, just give resignation to just show them and watch their reaction. Happy mylotting!!

Hi Subah, I think I am paid according to my qualification. But due to this recession there has not been any pau hike in the past two years. That is the only concern that I have. But otherwise I think my pay is decent compared to my peers also and compared to my qualification also.

I have never felt like I was paid what I was actually qualified for or worth in any job that I ever worked at. They always want more work out of you and the same amount of pay as everyone else whether they are qualified or not.

well as far as I am concerned, i guess i was satisfied with my pay. Well, yeah due to the recession many of us feel the same way. I guess you better find a better job that would treat you and pay you the way you really deserve.......

It is disheartening when people with lesser qualification and experience rise above you.what i want to tell you is don't leave the present job till you get a better one as bird in hand is better than..... I do not believe one is paid as per one's qualification as such situations wouldn't arise.
