Traits of older and younger siblings

I read a report which found that younger siblings tend to be funnier and less conventional, whilst older siblings are more sensible and earn more money. It is true in my case - I am a broke but happy younger sister to my snsible, money-savvy older brother. Sadly we don't really get on.
What is your experience? And what about middle and only children?

I think it is mostly true. Parents tend to give the older sibling more responsibility. The older sibling also needs to care for the younger siblings. In most cases, the older sibling learns to be more sensible and practical while the younger sibling who has always been cared for would be more carefree.
