What are your views on aBJD's (Asian Ball Jointed Dolls)?

I love BJD's (Ball Jointed Dolls). They're gorgeous and amazing. I own a few myself, and I love seeing other BJD's and meeting owners. I'm wondering what some views that some people have out there for this expensive hobby - and do you think they should cost as much as they should; from the more popular name brand companies like Volks, to the lesser companies; like Angel Region or Dollzone.
