At times of urgency I skip my breakfast, and sometimes if the work is more, I skip lunch. Does this affect my health and is it ok to kip a meal during the day?

I have to be honest I don't eat breakfast. However I make my kids eat because it wakes up the body and gives it fuel for the day. I know I should practice what I preach but a cup of coffee is really all I can do at breakfast. Breakfast also makes you not so hungry in the afternoon and evening. When you eat later in the evening you don't have time to work off those calories. So eat breakfast.

I think the best time to skip food would be dinner. Breakfast is necessary to support the work done during the morning and lunch will keep your stomach from producing acidity. Somethinglight for breakfast and dinner would suffice, but I guess its lunch which is most important. Thank you for the response and the advise. I'll try and have breakfast and lunch from now on.

I skipped my lunch today and am typing empty stomuch.. Yes there is no problem in skipping a meal. We carry a wrong notion that skipping a meal makes us weak. No it wont. It on the contrary cleans our digestive system and facilitates good digestion. But dont keep the stoumuch empty. Take some liquid, either water or fruit juices whn u skip meals..thx

No certainely it would not do you good, atleast you should find time to have glass of juice or salads which can balance your meal. Most of us skip food, but we should see to it by balancing with a lighter one which help us retain our enery level, food we consume help us to keep our brain healthy with regular oxygen level, when we yawn our brain is warning us with the insufficiency of the oxygen it needs.
