Where have you woken up?

Okay...Who has done this? Had a little too much too drink and one thing led to another...And the rest is a blur...The next morning you wake up in your own bed or someone’s else’s bed or worse some place you don’t even recognise! I heard a young man on the radio tell the story of waking up in his ex girlfriend’s mother’s bed (she wasn’t an ex until then!) and upon realising what he may have done and attempted to get out of there as soon as his hung over legs could carry him, he looked out of the window and saw his Utility parked in the driveway with all its windows smashed and the tyres slashed. I guess it may have been at that point that the girlfriend decided to become his ex! I have been fortunate enough to wake up alone but with no recollection of how I got there and yes I have woken up in strange places on the odd occasion. Those days are long over for me thankfully and it is amusing to look back on now but they were embarrassing at the time especially if, like me, you don’t handle alcohol all that well.
