In my opinion, network marketing is good, if it is fair in all aspects. I've done a couple of network marketing business. I can't say either I lost or I won. I just tried it for a while and dropped as it looked hard. Moreover, those opportunities were having monthly targets. That was the major problem of the ones I tried.
And recently I've taken up a new one, because it looked bit fair. It required just 2 downlines (binary network marketing). And the unmatched entries were not flushed out. Instead they get carried forward. The product was useful in daily life and there was no difference between the market price. And I saw so many positive points. It's not disappointing so far.
However, I just wanted to know what most people think of network marketing.

Not every one can be a good Network Marketer. for me, if you're not good at charisma talking it out into that scheme, then they will go away and run with your money..i attended this seminar on networking, uhm all they said was how tehy become successful and everything but never said how..until i realized it..i left the place..never to come back..asking me to give out 300#, pffft!

It's not an online business. Though I designed a website to make it semi-online, rest of the process is offline. Furthermore, the opportunity is for Indian prepaid mobile users only.
I have sent you a friend request.

Here's my opinion. In my opinion, network marketing is good; BUT IT IS NOT fair in all aspects. I HAVE been apart of a couple of network marketing businesses in my day as well. I have done well in some and horrible in others. I eventually dropped it. The KEY to network marketing is the MARKETING, the individuals NET (friends, family, associates), and most importantly the WORK. Many people like the idea of making a little money off of the combined efforts of others. Who wouldn't right? A lot of network marketers are NEW to the scene; they merely want someone to show them how to invest a $100 or so and turn it into $3,000 or more a month, withouth them lifting one little finger. That is so Wrong, and no one is going to control your own destiny except you.
I like the concept of Network Marketing, but it isn't for everyone. Everyone isn't going to be able to sit back and live like a fat cat, off the efforts of the real workers out there. It just won't happen like the days of AMWAY. It hasn't happened so far, and it won't. You do have folks that make a great deal of money off and they are most likely the folks that have been exposed to some type of marketing or have a great work ethic and willing to do what ever is necessary for them and their families.

well now you have started a topic which is one my favourites,
I am a multi level marketer and have done it for over 5 years, mlm is an awesome way to make a lot of money I have got to the point where I dont need to work a normal jonb as all my income comes from mlm, at 35 I am semi retired.
The reason why I love mlm, is its really simple you dont need any qualifications or skill sets, all you need is the drive to make it happen. I have over 2000 active members in my immediate downlines and countless more in their downlines.
You also do not need to be a good salesman or woman as you are really not selling anything just planting the seed and letting the seed grow over time.
MLM is a huge boom industry especially in the USA they been doing mlm for a long long time, here in the uk we are lagging behind and the asian markets are also becoming a boom area for recruitment.
Though one thing I will say all these e-books and seminars are well a total waste of time and money, they teach you the basics which any good sponsor could do.
The trick with mlm is to be focused and take the good with the bad times,
the best analogy is when you are going somewhere in your car, and you hit a traffic jam. If the destination is that important to you would you turn your car round and go home, NO you would slowly creep through the traffic untill it clears and you can put your foot down.
Thats the same as mlm you will hit bad times its how you handle the bad times and push thru I have thought about quitting loads when I first joined mlm but 5 years on I am 35 and semi retired.

Yes, It's really a fair job as we are able to work from home itself. Unlike other 'work at home' jobs, it is legitimate and a great way to make money online.
Recently, I bought Super 'Affiliate Handbook' written by Rosalind Gardner for a reduced price of 29$. I read the whole book twice. It's an awesome resource for any newbie to go about Affiliate Marketing. But I can't say that I am ready to start as an Affiliate Marketer as it involves a lot of effort in the beginning. As a college student, I could not manage it so far.
But I am not ready to give my long time dream. I am seeking help from some of my friends who are expertized in this field. They used to say that it is that much easy to start with. But What I experienced was 'it is not at all easy to get started with'.
By the way, which products did you promote these days? Ebooks or any other Digital products?
Please mention in detail. It may help me seriously in the coming days of setting up my online Affiliate business.

My product is 'Online top up coupons' for our prepaid mobiles. I invested Rs.1000 and I got 10 coupons for Rs.100. And these coupons are activated automatically every month without requiring me to send a request.
Those who join this program shall introduce 2 persons and they shall introduce 2 and so on. For every pair they get Rs.200 (less 20%). A pair means one on left and one on right irrespective of how manyeth level deep they join. There is a ceiling on our daily earning, that's Rs.1000 per day.
Though they generate 'online top up coupons', the company is having many offline process to become a member. We have to fill applications, get cash receipts for our payments, get a PIN no. and then create a member ID. To help my referrals, I have designed a website and they can make payments to my account. I am doing the other offline procedures on behalf of them.

Yes network marketing is good provided we have the talent to market it. Maketing or selling is not everybody's cup of tea. We need special talent to market. This is why most nework marketing collapse. I recently joined a network business which is very easy and only one time investment. I will tell you more about it if u send me a PM. It is low investment and dont have to join anyone before the expiry of 4 months by which time u will have recovered ur investment.. thx
