Do you think that Bmw is loosing personality,by following the same path?

Most of today cars are so common that you tend not to recognize the models,as they been known.In the 90's they were sport models like E30 ,M3,the limousine 5 and 7 series,everybody who was hearing about Bmw was dreaming one..Now as all car producers are binding togheter ,u tend to have cars with no personality,ask somebody how a E90 looks,what is the latest engine from Bmw,and few will know.Bmw ,as all great cars doesn't make a statement anymore,as with the older models.What they could do to mark the spot with the Bmw name?
