Hi maysya,
Peace upon you.
First of all, welcome to myLot.
Ramadhan should be a month where we all try our best to be a good servant of Allah. It is a month of where we should double up our worship.
I am from Malaysia. And I think the situation here and Indonesia is not much different. We usually wake up early around 4.30 am and have our meals. If we are a lazy people (like me), we will get a nap after that. The good servant will recite a Quran or pray and wait for a morning prayer.
Usually there are a lot of stall selling cookies (kuih) or foods during evening. We have a lot of choices from traditional to the modern foods available there. And I usually get my foods for breaking my fast there. And my favorite is curry puff. Usually I only ate that to break my fast.
You can also break your fast at the mosque since they always prepare the foods for that purpose. A lot of people give money to the mosque for that purpose.
After evening (Maghrib) and night (Isyak) prayer, we will perform the tarawih prayer. Most of the mosque will perform it in 20 raka'at. Even though only the older generation will follow it until the end. Most of the youngster will only take 8 raka'at.
Malaysia will start the fasting tomorrow (saturday), how about Indonesia?

Hello maysya,
I come from Indonesia too, I live in tangerang. Today (saturday) is first day for fasting (ramadhan). I hope in fasting month no terrorist again. That is very bad habbit to make trouble in fasting month. Ramadhan or fasting month is very religious month for muslim. Some people said muslim is terrorist. That is false. The terrorist are a lot of man who is not good in religion. Muslim is love in peace.
