Hello,
Well I have some salmon and I have no clue how to make it. My mom has a great recipe for salmon which I am going to ask for. But I would like to have other recipes or tips on how to cook salmon, just in case my hubby does not like it made the way my mom makes it. I know that my 3 year old loves salmon cooked the way my mom makes it. Which is a plus because I like my mom's salmon. I know that some people cook it with lemon and EVOO with a dash of pepper. But I am not sure how that would tast though. So I am wondering how do you make your salmon and also is there any pasta recipes or such recipes that contains salmon in it? Any tips and recipes that you have would be great.
Happy Mylotting

Hi. Seppy1984. I would just sprinkle and season salmon with some fish seasoning salt. I will also use Mrs. Dash, and ground black pepper too. I will bake it and then serve it with some pasta and honey glazed carrots. You can try serving chicken pasta or rice with salmon.

Actually, I just had salmon yesterday at home. Salmon has good taste itself, I just simply added some salt on the salmon to marinate it for a short time and pan fried it on the stove, serve with lemon to taste.
The best way I like to have with salmon is salmon sashimi though, serve with soya sauce and wasabi, it is the best!
How about smoked salmon? I like it in my salad.

I would definitely love to choose salmons that are fresh from the sea and frozen prior to cooking. I will definitely broil my salmon. Prior to broiling, I will marinate it with whatever sauce is best for me plus spices besides salt n pepper. Then I broil it on the bottom of my oven for a certain time at an appropriate temp. I check it every ten minutes or so.

That sounds like it helps keep in the juices. That is how I like my fish. What type of stuff do you use to season the fish?? Im want new ideas as I always use the same old reciepe... which is a good one but a change would be great.
