Is it true that in nigeria the country is so corrupt that when you ask for direction you must pay first before you are given the directions ?

I am very surprised that you have to pay just for asking directions. If its true then corruption in that country is very bad. What about asking the way to the toilet? Or where is the nearest police station? If I have to pay for these questions too then I might as well be dumb and not ask at all.

I guess you can brand the country in general just because some people are unscrupulous. We also have those kind of people in my country, and they are like hoodlums in where they reside. I think it depends on the person themselves on how they behave and generally there still some good people around.

So far i heard that there's alot of corruption in African countries. But i'm not sure which country is the worst one. The fact is corruption is here around us no matter where do you live now on. Here in my country also has a lot of corruptions. However we all agree that money never fails. So especially on developing countries, corruption is not a strange thing. We can easily find the fact on daily life. In my country, if we want to apply for ID card or driving lisence, we must pay more than the normal rate. What if it's not corruption? I think the same thing also happened on many countries around this world. Happy mylotting.
