Why do women love jewelery that much?

Women loves to decorate themselves with precious stones.They say that they do it to attract us,males.But the original reason behind it is jewels are worth assets and they want to be proud owners and want to exhibit them and kindle envy in other women.More over they feel comfortable and security having some precious things with them.But they are not content with what they have all the time.Cheers!

I must be one of the few women in the world that doesn't care for flashing gemstones, never cared for diamonds. If I get jewelry with any kind of gemstones I prefer turquoise or lapis lazuli, even tiger's eye...

Women naturally loves beautiful things and jewelries are women's best friend. They aren't showing off but just feeling proud to be draped in glittering precious stones for self satisfactions.

I am a lady and I appreciate beauty. I wear a watch most days and a pair of earrings some days. I don't wear the rest of my jewelry all that often. It stays in my jewelry box. I have some gold rings and one with a tiny diamond on it. I collect crystals because they are colorful, really pretty and not too expensive to purchase. I like lapis lazuli, obsidian snowflake and florite. They can be bought as tumble stones for as little as one pound. I have a number of shapes like spheres, triangular prisms and so on. Most ladies like beautiful jewelry and not many of us wear it to show off.

Me and my boyfriend have had this discussion quite often and the only way it can be explained is for pretty much the same reason men like big, shiny things like HD Tv's and the PS3. I think it is something to have to feel like you are worth something, like look at me I have this expensive thing. For me personally, the reason I like jewellary is for the sentimental reasons. I will love a pair of earrings my mum gets me whether they cost £10 or £1000 because of the sentimental value. I like wearing things people get me to remind myself of them. I wear a ring my boyfriend got me for 18th birthday all the time.

Women will be women even if men change.The world has made women women and they are living it with fashion i would say.The thing that every women wants to look as much attractive as her near by lady,is what is making women so addictive to jewelery,and ornaments.The mark of pride and prestige has to be shown by wearing jewels is the thought of women from along time.I won't say all women are the smae but majority of them have this tendency of show off.
