Does it help you sleep better on rainy day?

hi clorissa thats odd but I find that I sleep really well'on rainy nights. I think its the rhymn of the raindrops on the'roof sortof lull one to sleep.the trouble here in Southern California' it just doesnt rain very often.maybe thats why i have some'insomnia at times. So you are from Atlanta? or just visiting . I am a 'california resident. I love knowing we come from all over as it makes my lot more interesting. The last time I commented on a response you made, you were telling about someone answering your' discussion and being really insulting to you. i had suggested you report this user. anyway if anyone does that to you again just'report the person to mylot by hitting the third button by positive and negative buttons.nobody has to take insults here.

Rain is a big help for tropical countries especially during the summer coz it cools down the place and not letting the temperature boil us alive lol. It also cools down my room, making it air-conditioned for couple of hours and making my room a better place to sleep. It is also music to my ear. Rain is really good for me but the downside is, the difficulty of going out because i don't have a car lol...

in reality when it reains during the night is not so helpful to sleep for me!!So normally i have not so much difficulties to sleep in the night and so it is really indipendent from the weather or conditions outside!!

Hello! This summer has been a cooler rain and we have had alot more showers. Usually, They happen just when the night starts and well I dont sleep, but will go enjoy the storm from my porch. Sometimes, The rain will wake me when I am sleeping, but I do sometimes find peace in the rain.

In our place, it often rains, we even experience storms. Its very comforting to me when its raining and you don't have anything to do but to stay at home. And I like sleeping while its raining. Very relaxing for me. I don't know why, maybe because I love the pouring sounds of the rain and feeling cold under your bed sheets. I always have a good sleep when its raining. ^^

You are soooo lucky. I live in Virginia and you would think that the rain would help cool things down but it never seems to. It always makes it hotter/more humid. It rained a little while ago and I had to walk about half a mile. It wasn't raining anymore while I was walking, but by the time I got where I was going I felt wet just from the humidity. _

Hi clorissa, it’s the wet season here in our area these couple of weeks. The green lawn outside look really lovely and the vegetable plants, as well as the fruit trees in the courtyard growing broomy. The vigorous plants outside make the air around really fresh I like rainy days as the weather is cooler and comfy. This makes me feeling comfortable and relaxed once lying on the bed. I fall asleep easily listening to the pitter-patter outside the window. Without switching on either air con or ceiling fan, I could enjoy sleeping soundly the whole rainy night. yes. i like the rainning night and i always sleep better on the rainy day or night actually.the rain can fresh the air and i'm comforted with the sound of falling rain and i even told my girlfriend i like this kind of day and that even make me happy. all the world seems more beautiful on the rainning day.

For me, sleep becomes a lot better when its raining. Its cooler and you can relax while listening to the sound of the pouring water. It's very therapeutic. I don't really like waking up sweating, so i would always be happy when the rain comes at night. I could sleep easily and it feels great when you can cuddle with a loved one. Here in our country, we get a lot of rain in the middle of the year and I'm always enjoying it.

Yes i will sleep much better during the rainy days . If the next day i won't have to go to work i will feel much more better. I like raining in the summer which can help cool the temperature . I really hate hot days and cann't stand high temperature at all.

I love the rain especially when I am home and I am bout to sleep. I love to hear the pitter-patter of the raindrops on our roof and windowsill. I love to burrow inside the covers and just snuggle comfortably because it is cool when it rains. I wish it would rain now. It is so hot in our place now that a sprinkle of rain would be a gift. :)

It is a big help in tropical countries because temperature here KILLS! lol especially if you have an air-condition.. Anyways, yeah it helps me to go to bed easily when it rain because it cools down the temperature, making my room air-conditioned..a better place to sleep. The sound of the rain is music to my ear as well, however the downside of it is the difficulty of going out.

Yes. The pitter patter is calming. I even enjoy thunder when its not extrememly loud enough to scare you. A dreary day definately seems more peaceful and makes you wanna sit around and relax with a movie or watch TV or something.

I love when it rains when I'm trying to sleep, it sounds so soothing I find. Also sounds pretty cool when it hitting the roof. And I find it easier to sleep when it's rainy because when it's sunny the birds are chirping away haha! But don't get me wrong I absolutely love love love sunny days, I mean who couldn't!

Yes, I always say "it's good sleeping weather" when it rains! I love to go to bed and listen to the rain, but I fall asleep right away. There's something soothing about the sound of rain and it usually cools things down, which makes it more comfortable to sleep.

hello clorissa123, Not only me but the whole family as well can sleep better and easier when it is raining during the night. Maybe because the sound of the rain will make us sleep. Or maybe because it became colder. Too bad if my kids has a lot of homeworks to finish for they can not sleep yet till such time that they are done. More so if the rain stops sooner.

Not only does it help me sleep better, but that kind of weather also makes me sleep longer! I like how the sheets feel on my skin when the weather gets cold.Ü

I sleep better on rainy day, because of the wind that suits the house whether close or you just open the door and window, no need an electric fan, and it is an alternative to save energy.

yes i do believe i sleep more during raining seasons because of the soothing breezes that usually come before such raining sessions, though sometimes i don't feel sleepy but rains often help me to relax and feel better most times, i do love such seasons because i don't have to go out when bored

it depends on what type of rain because if it is raining cats and dogs it would be a little difficult for me to sleep especially if it is a thunder storm but if it is was just a simple rain with a little breeze of air it would definitely help me fall asleep and have one of my best sleeps because is is cold and it gives me a little bit calmness but whenever i think of the children who lives on the streets who has no where to go to when it rains it will bother me. wont it bother you?
