Wouldn't you be tired of watching one good movie with so many sequels? Maybe 2 or 3 is enough, but beyond 4, that just boring, and it seems bring in the same story to the audiences. For instance, the sequel of "Bring it on", was so popular at the frist. After too many sequels, I felt bore with it, because it just about cheerleaders competition, and battle for the championship. Nothing new out there anymore. Don't you hate too much sequel?

I don't get bored watching sequels to a movie. I may be disappointed that they weren't good, but never bored. And I don't mind if they have the same general plot as long as something new is brought into the movie or has these unexpected turn of events. For example, I watched all the Saw movies so far, and even though the latest ones aren't as good as the first one, I was still interested in watching it because the latest movie always tied in somehow to the other movies, you get more of Jigsaw's history, and something surprising always happens at the end.

Sequels are great way to reach audiences effectively since there is no need of introducing the characters again. Yes some sequels are great like terminator T-2 and MI ones. But again they should limit to 2 because I havenot seen any sequel doing well more than 2.

Most of the time I get tired with certain sequels to a movie but there are some out there that are really good though. It all depends on the movie I guess just like Harry Potter.. I like that movie very much or Superman. Can't get enough of them.

A trilogy is all right. That is supposed to be how stories go. That is why we have Star Wars, the Indiana Jones adventure, Superman in the past: Lord of the Rings and Bourne series as of late. The 4th sequel to Indiana Jones and Superman seem like an epilogue to the stories. They came decades later. As to the Star Wars, they made a prologue in trilogy, too. Quite cunning of Lucas. I am sorry I have never seen Bring It On. As to Harry Potter, let's say JK Rowling waved a wand and put a spell on us.

Well,I am tired of watching sequelsMany sequels lack their high quality.I nstead, they want to make profits in the global market. The showbiz is too complicated for people who are out of lap to understand.I'd rather watch movies or series in high quality and terrific plots.

first of all, it depends on the series and the sequel, if the last expansion of it was great and does not live you dragging then it does not need a sequel. A good example is The Lord of the Rings trilogy which was very popular but instead of having a sequel, i would rather support the prequel, i just want to hear the story of Isildur before he was corrupted and the human shape of Souron at the time of Numenor when he was note powerful enough to corrupt the light.

yes i don't like me too so much sequels on the same subject for movies!!normally the sequel was not as good as the first movie of the saga and so in many cases produces will do it to attract people loved so much the first movie as well!! So i think if they will produce the part 2 it cna be ok but if they continue as 3-4-5 aas rocky saga or rambo...i think is in the end will be really grotesque!!

I am completely with you and my feeling is by the time they make a part 3 to any movie it is usually running out of steam and new ideas. You just need to look at the plans for new sequels which includes a fourth part for "Pirates of the Caribbean" as well as a fourth part to "Scream" and you know that they are going to be pretty lousy. There are rare occassions where sequels do work and in the case of Rocky the sixth part was as good as the original, just a shame that parts 3,4 and 5 were so poor. What I don't mind so much is when they come back with a series of prequels as these often are vastly different to the original movie and add something to the storyline rather than just regurgatating the same old storyline. For example Ridley Scott has signed up to produce a prequel to Alien. Now that excites me as although you know where the story will end up it will add a new dimension to the series.

Yes the number of sequels a movie has can get a bit silly sometimes. I think most sequels are never really as great as the first film anyway. The only sequels I have enjoyed watching so far are those for the movie 'Saw', otherwise I can't really think of any others.

If the movie sequels are just repetitions of the first film with just new characters but same plot and storylines, its going to be boring. Good sequel movies are those movies that has a big storyline and plot and can't condensed it one movie that's why they have to make a sequel.
