Some part of karma is true and some part aren't...It also depends on how you understand it.

I know Karma with two aspects, one is a good Karma and the other one is BAd Karma. they say that everything that you do to other has a feedback with your life, so if you done good to other then the good karma is to follow but if you done bad or not good to others then the bad karma is in there. but only God knows what Karma should be given to us, and he is the only one who responsible giving punishment to us. so better always be good to others so that you will live a happy life. My grandma believes in Buddhism in which karma is implicitly true. But I believe what I am doing determines what I am gonna be. Good day.^_^

I think it's only true for those who believe it, because it could be something like a "hidden truth". You don't know if it's the truth until you will see the result. If you believe in karma and see your development you can for sure think. "Oh this happened because I have produced too less Karma:" On the other hand people who don't believe will maybe find other reasons like: "It was destiny!" or negative results which are your own fault..."It would have been better if I had work harder / learnt more / whatever." As for me, I don't believe in any of the religions. In all of them, there might be some nice ideas and things included but somehow I wouldn't find the most suitable for me since every religion also has some kind of negative aspects as well in my opinion. However I find it really important to have some knowledge about all of them even if I am not a believer.

Karma is concept which people from the oriental countries believe in.The point i want to say is one can't leave everything to fate or karma. We have to put in 100 or 110% effort and then leave the rest to god or conscience as may be our belief. We can't blame everything on karma without putting in hard work.
