Would you avoid to chat on the cellphone on rainy day, especially when you are driving. I really try to avoid that happen; even my friends call me at the moment of raining, I try to tell him/her, when I get inside a building, I can talk to you. Because from report, some people got strike by lightning while they were talking on their cellphones during rainy days. I am trying to avoid that happen here. Don't you fear the lightning might strike you?

I wish I had a cell phone. :( But I do stay off the phone period because lightening HAS struck my house before, and traveled thru the phone line, came out one end and took out the TV and Nintendo and made a little hole in our concrete floor.

Hey llewrah2k5,
Thunder and lightning is the one of the powerful natural occurring which is found in every rainy day. They having much penetrating power and can heal anything what they touch. This natural occurrence had caused many disasters among the people. Many had lost their houses, their appliances and even their precious lives. To try to stay inside a metallic body like a car. This will help you to stay away from them.

Now days, we have a loud thunder with a bright lights on our eyes. I feel very worried to use my cell phones on these days because the intensity of the thunder as well as for the lightning is very high and there were many reports about the disasters about the natural occurrences. Even I am much worried to out during the natural occurrences.

Hi, clorissa123. Yes, only when I am driving or walking to where I can't possibly see that well clearly. I will not talk on my cell phone while I am driving or walking either. It is just not safe at all. I don't know why people can't avoid doing something as simple as this. Especially, if this poses a risk to their lives. If the rain is pouring down heavily, then that is my cue to take a break and to not talk on my cell phone while I am walking or driving. I will just wait until the rain slacks down some.
