Have you ever donate some money or charity to any organistion. Today morning only when ever I was coming out from shop I found some NGO people enter inside and I talk to them and came to know that they came here for distribute medicine to thalamus patient. I feel bad since a long day I was expecting to go to organization but I could not go. After a long day today I donate some charity. Really I feel good.

Charity does make people feel good. I only gave money to the Santa Claus with the charity boxes during Christmas. It does me feel warm that I'm helping someone even though it's only a small sum.

i know doing charity is a good deed but now i dont do it anymore
my country had 2 cases of the leaders in their own respective charity organizations using the donations to let them enjoy life...
1 case involved the head of the charity organization using the money to buy cars, live big house, take first class flights all the time and even changing the tap into golden tap. his secret was exposed when someone wrote to the papers that he was living in luxury...
the other case involved 2 person, the head and the assistant, making donations for their own usage
with these 2 cases, only a very small percentage of people donate now. previously many donated but now, no one dared

if give up time for charity, then its worth it, and i will do it...besides last time i have done it before
and talking about god punishing them...i dont think punish enough.
the one who use the money for first class flights, golden tap -- the judge gave him only a 3 month jail term and he doesnt need to return all the money he took...no justice

I donate to only genuine charity organisations besides other known people who are always in need of some kind of finacial help. I follow a strict rule that my left hand will never know what my right hand is doing. It is a top secret kept to myself. This is the first time I made a mention of this and that too because of this discussion. No friend of mine ever comes to know which friend I am helping. I am that strict with myself. This money goes from my personal expenses.

If only I can but I don't have money to donate and I'm also need money for my medication. I don't mind it for now at the moment I don't pay attention to my illness even if sometimes I want to seek help to other people too. Now a days you never know who is legitimate or not. I think you should also be careful in donating. I know that it is our obligation to help others but if you don't have money how can you help others.

No i usually dont hand over money to any organistions. I prefer to do it my own small way. As of now i try to give small alms to women who are need. I have a small project in mind and i have already given it a name. Lakshmi Foundation, my mother's name. Will want to help desititue women and kids from poor sections of the society. Give them good education and teach women some vocational skill so that they can survive on their. Hope nature will bring this to reality thx

Sharing our blessings to unfortunate ones is one of the greatest charity deeds we can do in our lives.
We had an organization running orphanages, home for the aged and we also offer some college education for free...free bus rides, free mrt tickets for senior citizens and we are giving regular free medical assistance and feeding programs to various elementary schools.
It' tiring, but at the end of the day...the feeling of satisfaction can't be describe.

Well, I do donate some sums annually. But am ashamed how little I am sparing. Moreover, I feel guilty taking tax rebates on them. I was advised to take these rebates, as it would ensure that the amounts were properly accounted for instead of siphoning it away. It is easy to siphon away cash if there are somethings received in kind. I was also told that some of the charitable organizations are involved in crimes such as human trafficking. Because of this, I am afraid of getting too deeply involved with them. Nor would I like to start something that would at a later day be used like that. Thalesemia patients really need help. I am glad u could do ur bit.

Well, I give of my tithes and offerings to the Church I attend, so that is a religious donation that is tax deductable, and then from time to time I have been able to donate of items or monies to other organizations asking for help. A lot of times for me it depends on if I have anything extra to give, and what the money is really going to be used for as well. But if it is worthwhile it is worth doing.

I donate as often as I can. When I have extra I always give I figure that there are more that need it more than I do.

I do not trust my donation with a NGO any day. I prefer to do that act of charity myself. That gives me more satisfaction. World Vision raised $300 million through International Cricket Council soon after Tsunami struck Indian shores. Not a trace of that money's effect is seen anywhere in the place. Its the others who through their individual contributions helped those hapless people who suffered the fury of the oceans. That incident made me never to give any donations to any NGO, especially one run by christian missionaries.

donation is a kind of help that you can give to those poor people which cannot afford two times of food in a day.in college i always used to give some money to poor children whenever i saw them on my way to college.but as such i have not donated large money to any charitable society alone .but there was an incident in gujrat, when there was an earthquake ,i have collected some funds from people of my city and send it to the charitable society of gujrat

I do donate to charitable organizations. I just sent a donation our state's trooper association. I donate to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Every year at Christmas I give money to the Santas ringing the bells for the Salvation Army. And it is not money, but I donate clothing to Goodwill when I go through my closet.

I cant help myself, Even if i only have a few pennys to put in the box i always end up putting it in!, I also try raising a lot of money for deaf children, The only charitys that i refuse to give money to is the likes of human rights as i have no intention of supporting their beliefs.

I try to give back to those who have helped me. I give to the churches who have given me and my family a food box during the holidays or during a divorce when I my ends weren't meeting. I give to the Salvation Army because they have a wonder program for Thanksgiving and Christmas that help out struggling families. I have a lot, but I feel I've been blessed in so many other ways because I do give back.

Yes, donating always feels good. Especially when you see it doing good for the ones who need it. I donate money to my church every week. The money goes to help out families in need. I also donate to an animal shelter where I got my dog and cats. The money helps feed, shelter and vaccinate the animals. When I clean out my closet and cupboards I like to donate what I don't use anymore to an organization or church who distributes them to those who need them. And I think it is also important to donate your time. I'm a leader for my daughters Girl Scout troop and I make sure the girls learn how to volunteer their time to help. They visit and help the elderly, clean up and plant to help the environment etc. Everyone should do their part to make this a better world. Not everyone has the money to donate, but we can all make some time to make things better. Happy to hear that you did your what you could to help.
