i dont think i would rely solely on a work at home income, as substantial as it might be. i have different career goals in mind, and it's not all about the money. but it'd be nice to make some money on the side to live more comfortably or help my family out.

I wouldn't either! I am a stay at home mom (my husband works). I am doing this as an alternative to going back to work so I can stay with my son. This is not something that needs to be done full time - however, they way the company works, in 2 years a person could see a residual 6 figure income. It is all explained on the website - take a look...it might explain it better.
