Hi Suresh, H1N1 is a virus which is a common cause for influenza. H1N1flu is also called as Swine flu or pig flu is endemic in pigs. According to studies transmission of the virus from pigs to human is not common. But people with regular exposure to pigs are at risk of this disease. I heard that there are three steps with this flu. First it spread among pigs then spread from pigs to human and thirdly from human to human. I think now third step is going on. People with less immunity are easily caught with this flu. Timely medication will cure the disease completely. Proper precautions can prevent the spreading flu.
