hi everyone. i am starting an easy topic to share with you. hope all of you will share your views. cellphone is a part and parcel of our daily life. we love it when it lives in our pocket. but sometimes we lose our mobile or someone steals or automatically get damaged. in such situation we become upset but as it is our part of life, we have to buy another one. how many times u have changed your celphone suffering from above types of incidents. i have changed it for three times. first one was too old to comunicate. second one was ordinary and i gave it to my servant. and last one fell into water and its entire function get damaged. so i have bought the new one just few days ago. so what about you?

hi yes as you said cell phones have become part and parcel of everybodys life. i cant even leave a minute without my cell phone. Even while sleeping its under my pillow and when in the middle of the night when i wake up i first search for my phone and check for the messages.
Well im very cautious about my cellphone so i keep it safe. so i have changed only two cellphones as one went too old so gave to brother whos in school. but i gave that only after getting my new cell phone and now its gone little old so planning for new one.

ohh it seems that u are highly addicted to cell phones. i am not so. i always switch off my cellphones at night when i go to bed and on it at the morning. it irritates me when someone miss calls me at midnight. i have suffered it several times. so my land line is enough to receive an important call. thanks for response.

I usually change mine simply to upgrade, I been lucky never had any damage done to my phone, if I upgrade I may give my old phone away or I may keep it depending on what I have in the phone, I have one that I keep because my nephew baby pics are in there, and this is not one of those phone where you can not upload pictures to your pc, so I keep the phone cause he was minutes old when I took the pics, I feel really bad for people that lose their phone and all the important numbers they had in the phone, that is the bad thing about cell phone we don't carry address books the way we use too, so all of our important numbers are in this phone once lost, we are screwed.

Hi myfriend,]
People have left their phone places by mistake, it happens, you writing your numbers down is so smart, if only everyone did that, I don't only numbers I know by heart is my daughter/Mom etc etc, other than that any new numbers will be stored only in the phone, hopefully never to be lost..
Goodnight

I dint change my cell phones, I had a series of misfortune when it comes to cell phones......I had many high end phones earlier but then something or the other went wrong with it.......I had a w550i and something went wrong with it and the keys stopped functioning.......then I had a nokia music express phone and it got lost within 4-5 moths......so I stopped buying any more phones.......I am currently using a simple nokia phone and it it there with me since a long time and I dot intend to change it ever......

I have changed my cellphone once till now. The first cell phone that I got actually fell down on the road when I was driving my bike. By the time I noticed and came back there some car already smashed it. I had that cell phone for around 1.5 years. My second cell phone I am still using for around 2 years now.

Okay, compared to your reasons, my reasons do not sound valid I have changed so many times that I already lost count, there are times when I change mobiles because the one I am using already has a minor defect, other times, I just think that the newer model has a better function or feature that I like. I haven't lost a single phone unit yet, which is very good since I would sell my old phone to pay part of the price of the new one so I won't have to shell out that much money hehehe

I have only changed once as my phone was submerged in the washing machine when I forgot to take it out from my jeans pocket. Now I have 3 handphones passed down from my kids. They always buy the latest models and passed theirs to me. I am never into buying handset cos I prefer to use land line.

be careful zandi bcoz once water enters to your cellphones then it is too hard to repair it. i had same experience. one of cell phones fell into water. and after all you are in a great profit bcoz you can touch all the new models of cell phones through your kids. if i a not wrong. thanks for response. lol

From my first cellphone, I total have 3 now.
But the first one was stoled on the bus, the second one didn't work as it was always auto power off, and the third one is just the one I am using now.
Actually, I don't change my phone too often.

Hi shibham. I am not someone who follows the trend and change my cellphone frequently. I eould say I have changed two phone and the reason I changed was because it was totally mulfuntioning. Thats when I bought another phone and I went all over looking for the cheapest one with the function to make calls and sms only as I only use my phone for this two reasons. I am using this for about 8 months now.

hi thanusha, that should be the right way to use our cell phones. yes there are some persons who frequently changed their cell phones to be up to date but they don't know that to become up to date changes of cell phones are not essential. thanks for response. lol

i cherish every cellphone i had
and to tell you frankly, i had only 3 cp
one in my high school life, the other in my 2nd year collge and the third and the last one
my second cellphone fell in the floor suddenly when i stand up during flag ceremony
even though it has a silicon protector,
the cp technician says the IC is also damage and the screen,
now, i'm taking care of my recent CP, im comfortable that way rather than buying many cp and then what for?
i had only one SIM card, and i only need i cellphone

Cell phones are not protected by the wire tap laws in the USA because they are considered a radio transmition. Thusly they do not require a warrant from a judge in order to tap into ones conversation. There for I would never own one. I do see the convenience and security that they provide, but being accessable to everyone constantly is also another reason I prefer not even to indulge the invasive componant of having one.

Hi shibham! I have only changed my cellphone once time! The
only reason that I did change it was because I wasn't happy
with the prepaid plan. I had a Nextel Boost prepaid phone and
after 90 days they would not allow the minutes to be rolled
over without putting another $20 on the phone even if I
already had $40 left on it! I got tired of putting so much
money on the phone when I barely used it! So I finally decided
that I had enough of this phone and let it go. I now have
a trac phone which does allow you to rollover minutes. They
are alot more lienient with their rules!

I can't even remember how many cellphone i've been through. I've lost several & suprisingly I somehow found several of them. Others were gone for good. I dropped one or two in the toilet, but my mom does that more than me. I've repeatedly dropped a few until they didn't work. Had some stolen and one got returned. I smashed one and had another person crush one. Me and cellphones have been through it. I want to buy a new one right now because mine doesn't have a camera in it.

Hi nikky. There is a cold war between u and cellphone. It seems that your mom is guiding u as being a captain. She is more aggresive than u. Stop this war unless u will lose your money as well cells. If u have enough money to expend then i have nothing to say. Hahaha... Why u use cells in toilet, any imergency. Anyway thanks for response

yes, your topic is interesting. now the ring tone of cellphone is like our heart beats. in our daily life we can't think more without mobile phone. perhaps it touches our luxury life also.
i had also changed lots of mobile handset becoz of some necessary situations. like that damaged as well as wanted to bring a new one.
