I have to say i just like to do that when i find the movie a little bit boring, i am sure my friends must be hating when they are gazing at the screen with interest and i am doing something like that, but i have to say if i find the movie interesting i just shut up and gaze...

So you like to predict the ending of the movie, and let your friends know about it in the middle of the movie... or just like to predict and keep quiet and let others enjoy
have a nice day all of you:)

Whenever I am viewing a movie the first time, I try to concentrate and understand the plot while trying to enjoy the graphics and film techniques. Most often than not, the scriptwriters and the directors put some foreshadowing in the beginning that makes the viewer predict the ending. I keep quiet for the others to enjoy. On second viewing, I am an irrepressible chatterbox explaining why something had been done that way.

Have you seen Taken? Stars Liam Neeson. Positive rating for me. Watched it 3 times consecutively. My daughters said I said just about the same things on the succeeding viewing. Sigh!

Well eileenlevya
I have to say you really go to the insight of the movie that way, the graphics and all, i too admire them, but am not that keen on observing it that closely, these modern day movies are coming out with some really stunning graphics and it is really fun to watch!... well atleast you keep quiet the first time and let others enjoy
thanks for sharing and have a nice day!

My trouble is that having watched so many movies I often find myself predicting the ending, twists and even scenes well before they actually come. But occassionaly a movie will come along which I find different which actually drags me into what is going on rather than leaving me feeling just a watcher on the peripheral. It's these sorts of movies which I stop analaysing and just get envolved in the storyline.
Thankfully I don't watch many movies with others or I am sure some would probably throttle me with my smirking when something I thought would happen actually did.

hmm i have to say there are some movies out there with some really awesome twists, and sometimes we aren't able to predict how it would end, looks like you really love to see movies i think you even predict the movie successfully most of the time... keep it up

by the way i would like to ask you one question, how did you like the movie "The Shining" based on a horror novel by Stephen King... i find that movie pretty interesting, i would recommend you watch that one day if you still haven't that is... if you had seen that movie, how did you like it ?

Even I try to predict the end of a movie but only when I am able to understand the plot of the movie or may be I have watched a similar movie in some other language! There is a lot of plagiarism going on these days, so can't say when one will pick up the script of some long forgotten movie.
You know, I have this strange talent of recognizing the movie by watching it at any point in the middle, I identify the movie immediately, So when I find some movie interesting,I watch it with great attention.
And if someone uses that same concept but with some different cast or completely different language, I simply start predicting the ending! Or may be sometimes I might have have read a similar story in some novels.
So, I am complete movie predictor, movie fans better don't watch movies with me around!

Hi voldrox,
I really don’t care if somebody predicts the movie and I think we can get some guess by watching the same. My hubby has the habit of saying what will be next and I become surprised the same thing happened. Now I think I am also learning the techniques from him, how can we predict the next scene by observing the movie closely? Sometimes I like the prediction or telling the story by somebody who already watched the movie because if any tension is there it will be relieved. I don’t like to watch the movie with fully of tensions/horrors.

I completely hate it when people predict things in horror movie And if it turns out to be true then I can kill them!!
I just love watching horror movies which has lots of twists and turns and complexities leading to a great climax! I really don't anyone to reveal any secrets beforehand, I love to get scared and just immerse my self completely in that ambiance full of tension and horror. WOW, amazing!

Hi Sreekala
Hehe i understand you get to learn how to predict how the movie ends, some people are really good at it, probably because they have watched many movies, anyways yeah i have to agree, sometimes the pressure is relieved when trying to depict what is going to happen next, it is really wonderful actually hehe.. yeah especially with the horror movies:)

movies that u r watching touches ur heart, surely you can imagine what is going to be happen in the end.there is some curiosity arise in the people when you tell the story of the movie and you are not going to tell the climax of the movie in the end,all have curiosity to ask about the climax if they feel the movie to be interesting. i can predict the end of the movie many a times but in some movies the end of a movie is far behind our imagination.this is mainly the case in hollywood movies.many of us can easily predict the end of the bollywood movie as the end of all the movies are nearly the same

Hi praveen
I have to say some bollywood movies are so boring, we know how it will end, but not in case of some movies, i really love to watch such movies you know, where there is some very neat twist, hmm such movies are not very much out there though, but yeah i have to say i can always anticipate for one of those kinds of movies.

you can see nice twist in most of the hollywood movies but you rarely found in bollywood as there repeats same stories in many movies.you can easily predict the end in love stories and in action movies also as in action movies you generally know who is going to die in the end.......ofcourse the villon and in love stories anyone can predict who is going to get his love at the end

I hate when people talk through a movie, hate it with a passion, my niece does that all the time, so now we tell her to be quiet or she can not watch with us, but one way or the other she always manage to let something slip lol, when I watch a movie and someone is watching it, I just sit and wit to see if they will respond the way I did when I first saw it. I say hush up and be very very quiet.lol

Hi Kitty
I understand, i too don't annoy my friends much by depicting the scenes, anyhow if it is really interesting I would be so annoyed if someone did that with me, and i know how you feel when someone does that while you are gazing at the big screen.

thanks for your response and do have a great time here!

Hi voldrox,
How was your day? I am home now, my grandson came back today as well, everything is back to normal.
anyway yes it is best to just sit and allow others to figure out for them self what may or may not happenunless eveyone is talking about the show then thats another story, I remember I was watching something on t.v with a friend of mine and here mom, oh my goodness she talked through the whole show, she thinks she likes to predict what is going to happen, she was always wrong, I bet he will jump out the closet"he comes up the stairs" she is going to fall " she gets in her car" oh he is going to kill her watch "they make love" I mean really can you imagine lol first and last time I ever watched t.v with her

I have a tendency to predict movies out loud. I don't mean to it just sorta pops out, gets really awkward when in a movie theater lol I'm really good at horror movies (though really who Can't predict most horror movies these days?) it bugs the heck out of my friends and they've threaten to throttle me more then once 0.o so i decided its safer to watch movies alone now LOL

I keep my opinion to myself as I wouldn't want to spoil it for my friends who might not wish to know what the ending was, even through guesswork, so looking from it on the other side of the coin I certainly wouldn't want someone spoiling the film for me, so I think we have a silent agreement that we watch the film, if we find it boring then we can do something else or just sit there and enjoy the company of being with friends! We can talk after the film had finished and say that we had predicted what had happened, that is part of discussing the film afterwards, but never before the film has actually finished.

Well m glad that you don't irritate your friends like sometimes i do... hmm that is a much better idea, if boring then let the film end and discuss about it later, we do that sometimes but when the movie has been interesting.... i sometimes can't stand boring movies so i like to open up my mouth and start commenting.... i don't know why i do that, maybe i think if it's boring for me then it must be boring for everybody but that isn't the case always!

No I definitely will not do like that. I think telling the end to people who have not seen the film is a disaster. It would spoil the desire to watch the film. I know you just wanted to tease your friends by doing so, am I right? I suppose even the boring film is also deserved to find the end by audiences self. Can you imagine what a boring film with known end will be?

Hi Sblossom
Hehe i agree, i only do that for teasing but well with in the limits, i see to it that i don't cross them, i don't want to upset them, once they tell me stop i do it, and watch the boring movie with them... yeah i have to say a boring movie with a known ending is really a waste of time, so let the ones enjoy who are watching and i keep my mouth shut.

I, for one, do not like to predict how a movie will end, and I cannot tolerate the people who find this particular guessing game fun!
So many times people do that. Maybe they think they're being clever or they will sound impressive if they make the right guess1
To me, it's like they took away the cherry on top of the icing that covered the cake - the cherry I'd been eyeing ever since the movie started.
Now, all my friends know that I don't like this so they oblige.
Your last line echoes my sentiments exactly, so I will borrow / adapt it to end my comments here - "just...keep quiet, and let others enjoy...(the movie)."
That's my two cents on this.

Hey Jag
I understand, you really don't like someone telling you that, but i have to say i don't do that to irritate my friends or anything like that, i just like to see their reaction for an instance and i have to say i don't cross limits here, i want them to enjoy the movie as well... don't worry Jag i won't irritate you when we are coincidentally watching some movie somewhere...

Alot of movies today are quite predictable. You can watch a movie and know what is going to happen next. I would keep it to myself and not ruin it for everyone else, because I really hate it when I am trying to predic a movie and they are telling me what happen. If I am wrong let me be wrong and if I am right then I can say that movie was predictable. Happy lotting.

Sometimes I do that specially when the storyline are very basic and then I'll tell to my friend that this will going to happen and she will agree that I have point. But if the storyline is very complicated and lots of twist, I'd rather shut up and concentrate on watching because that type of movie is my interest

when movies with friends i always try to watch the movie with sharing my opinions at the same spot of incidence in the movie.I know this sounds disturbing to my friends but making comments on any peculiar thing in the movie and always is been a habit of mine.Prediction in the movie also has become a part of this but not as a whole I do this.
some movies have climaxes that we can simply imagine then such kind of predictions would surely be made by me.

I have to say you really must be enjoying your depictions very much but just take care you don't annoy your friends....they must be frightened when the climax comes, they sure do hope that you don't open up your mouth!

Yes i do also predict the scenes and the ending of the movie sometimes, I also say the exact dialogue according to the situation. My family are really astonished when the same happens although they sometimes tell me not to tell what may happen in the end.

Most of the movies are so stereo-typed that I don't have to predict the outcomeamong a group; they tell it themselves. However, I do like to watch horror movies with a group of friends because it gives you the opportunity to frighten them at times.
