Is FOX news bias against Obama

Let's see...is the Pope Catholic? Does the bear sh*t in the woods? I'd say a good comparison would be the difference between their coverage of those who protested against policies of the Bush Administration and of those today who are against President Obama. Under Bush the protesters were anti-American and unpatriotic, now they're the greatest Americans there are. Annie

Bernard Goldberg, who is actually a commentator for Fox News now but has worked on other networks as a reporter, writer and news producer over the years, wrote a book in 2001 called Bias: a CBS Insider Exposes How the Media Distort the News. Basically, according to that book, it all boils down to who is paying the bills. NBC, for example, is funded, in part, by General Electric (GE) and GE is also a major supporter of the military so naturally anything you get from NBC, MSNBC, etc. etc. etc. is going to be pro-military and pro-military almost always means pro-war. Which is neither bad nor good, just useful information to have. I used NBC as an example because I don't know the specifics on who is paying the bills at Fox. But if it is a corporation that is rooted in Conservative ideals, then a lot of the news you get from Fox would be Conservatively biased and Obama is as far from a Conservative as has been in the Oval Office in a long time.
