I have known few friends who's very good in writing. They often come up with good ideas and write it almost perfectly. But sad to say that they're not that confident and good when it comes to public speaking. Even others quite terrible in front of people. And I often ask myself how come. I admired them and felt so sad somehow. So, I've came up with this question. Would you like to be admired as a writer or a public speaker? Enjoy your weekends!

Actually, I enjoy one equally as well as the other. However, after thinking about it for a minute or two, I think if I had to chose (and I hope I do not!) I would want to be a famous writer. That way my work would be more easily saved for future generations!

Yeah, you have a point. When you're a famous writer, especially like Shakespeare you're work will be passed from generation to generation or it will be kept. But I think it's the same with those well known public speaker their public speeches was also put into writing and being kept as well. Anyways, thanks for sharing with us. Have a great weekends!

Yeah, me either don't haven talent on public speaking. But I guess if you're really get used on it, and tried couple of times, you can be one. For me public speaking isn't that scary as you might thought. You just really need to practiced and start up with talking to your friends, and being exposed to lot of people, just little by little. And definitely you can make it. Being a writer is much harder than speaker. Because you know, you have to spend a lot of times thinking and and not able to talked. Anyways thanks for sharing with us. Have a great day!

I think I would rather be a famous writer. I am not good when it comes to public speaking. I get so nervous and have terrible stage fright. But when it comes to writing I can do anything and I have so much confidence with it.

I would rather be a writer. I personally love writing, and I'm not that good at public speaking. I feel kind of shy. Enjoy your weekend too!

I enjoy both writing and speaking in public - I've given quite a few speeches and presentations, and I love the interaction with an appreciative audience. However, I'd prefer to be famous for my writing, as that will live on after I'm gone, while speeces, however good or well received, are transient. Also, writing can be enjoyed by a much larger audience.

I am that kind of person too. I think it's because when you are writing, you can process your thoughts more carefully and still can review whatever was written. When you are speaking, the thought process will directly go through on what you are saying and that makes it more difficult. I must say that there are people who are born really to be a good speaker. I admired those people who are good speaker. They possess so much confidence when delivering their thoughts or speeches.
