MyLotters: Too sensitive?

Who else feels as if they have to defend their opinion if it disagrees with someone else's here? I'm not just talking about one discussion in particular that I recently had with a fellow over cell phones (of all things, right.) But to me, and even looking at discussions I wasn't part of, it looks like people here get very easily offended....Anybody else notice this?

I agree, but remember that a lot is lost in translation! It is really easy to mis understand someone because you can miss the tone of what they are saying, especially if they have a dry sense of humor. I have caught myself beginning to feel offended until I re-read the post a few times, then I saw the humor or 'heard' the meaning in it. That is the trials and tribulations of communicating solely in text formats!
