Good Books

Hey, I love reading and getting new books, and hearing about new authors. One of my favourite authors right now is Jodi Picoult, I have read numerous books of hers. The latest that I'm reading is My Sisters Keeper. She is a very talented author and knows how to play the role or the character very well.
Another author I enjoy is Nicholas Sparks. I have read a couple of his books and I absolutely love them.
So what books do you enjoy? And what authors.
I would love to hear of some new books to read.

Recently I have been into themed mysteries by Berkley Prime Crime Mystery authors. I have been reading things like culinary ones by Joanne Fluke and Julie Hyzy, haunted bookshop ones by Alice Kimberly, candy shop ones by Sammi Carter, and scrapbooking ones by Laura Childs. It has been a fun adventure that started with Joanne Fluke and then Julie Hyzy to me realizing it was actually a publisher choices that I liked.

That sounds like a good selection. Im going to write down all of these authors so I can look into some of their books and see if I would enjoy reading some of them. I love pretty much all books. Some are harder to get into then others.

The best most recent book I've read is by Ken Follett and is called the Pillars of the Earth! It was awesome, it's old but I got it at a library sale, all paperbacks were .25 and hardcovers were .50 what a deal I stocked up! but really Ken Follett is well known for his novels! Give it a read if you get a chance, and I'm sure it would become one of your all time favorites!

hi alicia,i love reading erich segal and khaleid hosseini's books.
from erich segal:the class and ACTS of FAITH (my fave) and from hosseini: kiterunner and a thousand splendid suns. i love the fact that i learn a lot about religion, culture and history together with the books' plots, so i love reading these type of books. i hope you could get to try them too.
i'd try to get a cop of m sister's keeper,.everyonsays it's great plus there's a movie coming out.so there

I love Paolo coelho's books. Are you familiar with his works? he is really a good author who can touch your heart after reading. He makes you realize what life is and its importance. He makes me cry everytime I read his books and mind you if start reading his book you won't stop looking for another one.

I like reading Tim Downs, Guy Gavriel, Kim Harrison, and Anita Shreve. They are all very good and know how to be the character. Check out some of those.
