Does anyone know of a good book that has a lot of information for a new quarterhorse owner? I just recently got one and I need to learn as much about them as I can.

Quarter horses are pretty easy going horse to care for any general knowledge books on horses should help you out. Also magazines such as Horse Illustrated are a good source of information when it comes to general care of your animal.
As for specific information I may be able to help you out with any questions you have as I have bred/owned/raised/trained quater horse for all of my life.

Actually, I have a quarter horse that acts lame sometimes and I think it is a stifle joint problem. What can I do to fix it?
