How to get you pet obey your commands?

Hi, I have two dogs and oh yeah they are bad. They terrorize the two cats, they chew the wall, couch, shoes, pop cans, paper, boxes, ANYTHING they can get there paws on, you bet they will chew. I don't punish my pet that is not the way to train a pet. I mean I don't let them get away with murder. But when they are bad I will give them a little tap on the nose or bad. ONLY if I catch them doing it. If a dog poops on the floor and you don't see them doing it, you can't punish them after because they won't know what they have done wrong. And if you ever read the book "Marley and Me" there is a qoute in there that I really enjoy, it goes something like this, It takes a bad dog to pull a family together. And I somewhat agree with that. Even if they chew and stuff they are very lovable.

A pet must never be punished,if the pet of yours do not obey you no problem.Always have some small treats with you when you are with your pet,after giving him commands that you want your pet to respond to,give him a treat if he obeys and a pat on his/her back.Usually a dog must be trained in such a manner.From their childhood days making them go out and play lets them select a place to pee and put out their poos.No pet is bad on not knowing the methods of training its the owners who make a pet be bad,a pet always depicts the character of his/her master.

Punishing a pet NEVER works. When you hit an animal or smack them for being naughty, they don't see it as being punished. They see it as you being aggressive for a reason they can't understand. Dogs are social animals. If you want to let your dog know he's done something wrong, then try saying nothing and turning your back on your dog. This is considered a severe penalty in dog language. However, because dogs always crave your reassurance and attention, make sure you praise them and give them a reward when they do something right. They will very quickly start behaving very well because a reward makes them keep doing the good things and the bad things will stop.

mine pees and poops on our bed if shes alone in my room. so i never leave her inside the room alone ever again...
