ozone layer depletion

i think our ozone layer is depleted day by day due to harmful radiations of the sun .is there is any way to protect it from these radiations? our scientist had taken research on it and adopting various methods to protect it.if this problem is not being handled it will cause severe problems on earth.its a matter of life and death.what is your opinion?

The worst thing that I have heard so far that they have decided to do is to shoot pieces of mirror up into the ozone layer and try and close the gap. Now what good that will do I do not know, But they are assuming that all those fragment's of mirror wont ever fall from (space) and land on top of people? Yeah right. I can see them right now spending the 10 billion dollar's to do it just for it to come crashing down.

i think this should be one of the measures to protect ozone layer.how will they do with pieces of mirror.if the gap is closed by mirror, there can be another gap on other side of ozone layer.harmful rays will penetrate the mirror also.

What you don't realize is that all of the tiny piece's of rock and debris from outer space that will hit the mirror's and just start flinging broken mirror at us human's down here on earth. Which just goes to prove that not all of the scientist's out there are that smart. Thanks for the BR by the way.

OZONE LAYER DEPLETION is causing a very big threat to the humans in the planet earth.The hole formation of the ozone layer has let,many dangerous diseases like blood cancer,female cancer,eye cataract have increased in cases.The evolution of ozone gas the Cfc's are all responsible for this.The refrigerators give out ozone gas i believe and many outlets have to be found out and replaced by better means of operating items that do not cause ozone depletion.

if refrigerator is the cause of ozone layer depletion,then we could find the solution easily to prevent this problem
